Sassy Colin

Fitness and injury if I remember correctly. We just ran out of legs, and let's not forget DDG cost us with a few huge errors (chelsea at home especially)How come we went down tools at the end of last season? Really enjoying last few weeks. Hope that goes on forever.
Add a quality RW too and it certainly looks very excitingBit weird to imagine how much better our attack will be once Rashford is back.
We had quite a few injuries around the Liverpool home gameHow come we went down tools at the end of last season? Really enjoying last few weeks. Hope that goes on forever.
We were completely blown. If we were a horse we'd have been shot. We went from running the least in every game to I tihnk one of the most mid season. Players were rekt but you're seeing the benefit now.How come we went down tools at the end of last season? Really enjoying last few weeks. Hope that goes on forever.
We also had lack of competition for places and issues with mentality, morale and complacency. We were completely blown. If we were a horse we'd have been shot. We went from running the least in every game to I tihnk one of the most mid season. Players were rekt but you're seeing the benefit now.

Now its becoming clearer that the overall fitness played a big part in that collapse. Players seemed to be unable to maintain any sort of intensity after like 55-60 min. Now, we seem to continue the intensity almost till the very final minutes. How come we went down tools at the end of last season? Really enjoying last few weeks. Hope that goes on forever.
it will be interesting to see goals scored/goals per game and goals conceded/goals conceded per game alongside this statisticsDefense is getting back to where it should be after an abysmal 18-19. 45% is our 2nd best record since Sir Alex left, granted we're playing in Europa compared to Champions League but even so, promising turn around.

so true, Finally looking forward to every match with lot of enthusiasm. For 19-20, I suspect if one compares B.B. and A.B. the 'Goals for Per Min' and perhaps even the 'Goals Against Per Min' might be a teeny bit different.@Amarsdd

your fault for not believing in the teamVery annoyed.
I put a bet on 4-0 and that Andreas goal cost me around £820.
Magic in attack = Rashford return + RW signing + more attacking full backs (whether Shaw and AWB develop or we buy)If Ole gets more warchest to have two players on Bruno's level, I'm pretty confident we'll be back challenging the Top. We have good core of players, but feels like we still lack some magic in attack, and the midfield needs more "bite".
Have you watched how both played? Grealish isn't quite similar to Pogba. I'm not sure why many thought otherwise.Magic in attack = Rashford return + RW signing + more attacking full backs (whether Shaw and AWB develop or we buy)
bite in midfield = well that's exactly what Pogba would bring. and if he leaves then Grealish hopefully
I don't think we need Pogba specifically or someone who is similar to him. We just need a good creative midfielder to provide depth to Bruno. Pereira and Lingard are both shiite and hopefully on their way out.Have you watched how both played? Grealish isn't quite similar to Pogba. I'm not sure why many thought otherwise.
That would be nice to have Grealish as a cover. Although I think it's a bit unrealistic.I don't think we need Pogba specifically or someone who is similar to him. We just need a good creative midfielder to provide depth to Bruno. Pereira and Lingard are both shiite and hopefully on their way out.
Pogba will play next to either Fred or Mctominay in the easier games. So far no United manager has integrated Pogba into the team successfully...mainly because Paul has a unique skill set which doesn’t fit into a typical role.
I hope the extra time will give Ole and the coaches a chance to try different ways to play him and Bruno together without being completely wide open in MF.
Found my post don’t even remember writing it..We have shown we are a decent team at times this season.
With the addition of Fernandes and Ighalo we are looking much better.
With a fully fit and firing squad we could be a match for any team in the world.
Do we have what it takes to challenge for the title who knows but at least we are getting better and that’s what matters at the minute.
Most teams tend to depend on their best players, it’s nothing to worry about. Our last few games have been really encouraging. Our fixtures are more than kind enough for us to keep fourth and maybe take fourth or third if we beat Leicester and assuming CHelsea lose to Liverpool.
My current concerns are:
- Is OGS good enough to keep this going (imo, no; I think we're too dependent on Bruno's impact) and
- can we continue to make good signings as opposed to wasting money (imo, mostly yes).
What managers keep winning without their best players? Would Pep or Klopp or even Fergie be winning consistently with a midfield of Lingard, Periera and Mata? Our last few games have been really encouraging. Please tell me you're kidding.Very annoyed.

What does OGS need to do to get the backing of the fans? It wasn't too long ago when playing Chelsea away was certainly a loss. He knows how to beat stronger teams such as Liverpool and he knows how to beat weaker teams. Today was a perfect example where he start hamerring the opponent from the get go.Our last few games have been really encouraging.
