Sheffield Utd could do us a huge favour. Absolutely rolled over for us, beat Wolves, best Chelsea and they have Leicester next!

If we win against Southampton and Palace I think it’s done. We should aim for third though, which I think is where we will finish
They are actually playing for themselves, great club, fair fecks to them.

To be fair, some of our own fans also expected Chelsea to win all their remaining matches as if it were a formality, and focused on Leicester isntead. Just goes to show you how football can swing anytime.

So realistically we have a great chance of being 3 points+ ahead of Chelsea in the final day with GD would be all good to see us through. Just need to keep up the form.

Even if 5th gets CL we should still be aiming for 3rd, and we will be. That's where on current form we should be finishing.
Oh definitely I just think the drama of "will we won't we" get a CL spot will just vanish and we can relax a lot more. I am enjoying it being on a knife edge.

Well I'm very relaxed, we'll beat Sheffield United comfortably I'm very confident about that. I was more concerned with Westham and Crystal Palace as they were both London derbies, we were playing away from home and both teams always raise their game in these fixture.
Sheffield, Norwich and Wolves will be routine wins for us, nothing fancy just professional job done.
Thrown on the couch Relaxed ???

Too much to ask for a Bournemouth win tomorrow? Let's be honest they need it or it's almost certain relegation

Southampton game worries me a lot im not as worried about the others could be a veey tricky fixture. Our attack and defense has to be on top form.

Injuries is not really a valid excuse, chelsea have also had serious injuries to key players throughout the season.
Kante missed pre season due to injuries, he came into the season with an injury and has had a stop start season .
Pulisic, who is the creative outlet in the team got injured early January, he only just returned to full fitness post lockdown.
Key players like Rudiger, Abraham, James, CHO and RLC have all had long spells out due to injuries.
Injuries are not really a valid excuse yet you go on then to describe all the injuries you’ve had

Yeah, but story of our season has been when rivals screw up, we don’t take advantage. More pressure on Mondays match.
How do you figure that? Our rivals have been screwing up for weeks and we've been taking advantage every time.

If we win our games until Leicester and Chelsea drop points again, we’ll be going into the final game having already qualified due to enormous GD in contrast to Chelsea.

If Sheffield United win, I propose this fella gets a name change to "The Chelsea Glaston".
Let it be done.

Leicester might not even beat Bournemouth tomorrow. It will be pretty embarrassing if we cant secure top 4 at this rate. Our remaining fixtures are way to easy.

A Chelsea slip up usually means we will slip up aswell. Too many times this season have we failed to take advantage when our rivals lose, I hope it's not the case this time.

This is the chance to prove that we are not the same team we used to be, that we have evolved. If we win on Monday I'll be confident of a top 4 finish.

I said in the other thread but I could not believe how confident some Chelsea fans were about today, particularly @Mount's Goatieson

Chelsea were so lucky to hang on against Palace the other day, a Palace that had lost 3 in a row before that without scoring, and they've been wildly inconsistent all season. Plus Sheff Utd are a very good side that have been very difficult to beat.

Even if Chelsea won today it was clearly going to be a tough tough match.

A routine win :houllier:

Pool have been lackluster since winning the league, feckall to play for. A determined Chelsea could nick a win. Think we need to win all our fixtures to finish 3rd comfortably a loss or a draw could make it incredibly messy. Its looking good though. Ole's at the wheel :devil::devil:
