To be fair, he is one of several players been poor the last few games of the season, but he had a good season. For me personally, he is a decent player but also seriously over rated by many, he isnt the world beater many fans seem to think, he never has been

That run at the end of the first half sums him up, he had an age to get it out of his feet and into the bottom corner, he ended up on top of the full back trying a pathetic step over.

So often he fecks up when he shouldnt, maybe he's not good enough. His hearts in it, but the quality isn't always there.

I like him but he shouldn't be an automatic starter when he's still so inconsistent.

Something is wrong here. If he isn't fit or ready, Ole shouldn't play him. It seems he is Ole's favourite, regardless of how he perform. I have not seems him take on a defender. Can I swap Sterling or Rushford?

End of the season couldn't come quick enough for him. Needs to do nothing but rest now a few weeks and forget about football and everything else

Something isn't quite right there. Could be fatigue, could be an injury, could just be shot of confidence.

I maintain that he's a top talent and will be fantastic for us in the coming years.

His best spell came when he was striker. I don’t think he’s a good left winger.

The issue is this is Rashford’s normal level. The fanboys make excuses and have done for the last three years - whether it’s injury/out of position/tired/mismanagement/low confidence or whatever...delete as appropriate

Then when he has a little patch of form and scores a few goals they are back out in force to tell us he is world class and one of the best young players in the world.

We need to stop this delusion and get real about his abilities. His base level is OK at best and he’s capable of moments of spectacular skill but that shouldn’t make you good enough to start for Utd unfortunately
This sums him up pretty well.

He's just not the quality we expect him to be.
I remember stepping up for Pereira and I was sure he'll come on the better side - he didn't.
I was always stepping up for Rashford, but he's on the same curve as Pereira and Welbeck. He could prove me wrong next season, but so far he's been somwhere between average and poor.
We desperately need Sancho or someone of his quality.

People talk about him not being over his back injury but how does that affect his decision making?

It has barely improved since he made his debut in the first team.

There is way too much faith being placed in him, he is clueless as a natural footballer to play in an fluid front 3 at this moment in time, he may develop football intelligence over time, but it is a painful watch right now, some of the crap he produced tonight was embarrassing, he knows it hence the yellow for smashing ball into the ground.

Yep and the powerful shot from that FK didn’t affect him either.

People are just finding too many excuses every time he has a bad game.

Shocking for weeks. Could honestly do with some quality competition for his place in the team. Good season overall.

Dan James would have contributed more tonight. Post injury he’s terrible on the ball, all he has is pace at the minute we may as well rotate him with James

Looks like he’s struggling physically. Has never been at it since the break.
What makes you say that? I'm not saying you're wrong but personally I don't see anything to suggest he has a fitness problem.

For three seasons excuses have been made for this guy, the problem is just when your about to give up on him he does some thing of quality that makes you forget how ordinary he’s been and then the whole cycle starts again

Rashford is overated on here. If we want to be winning big things players like Rashford should start from the bench. He is all pace no brains. Always looks down when attacking. Based on his last few performances he should not be starting ahead of Ighalo.

Sorry to all the english fans. Rashford was and is a fecking disgrace. Believing his own hype as some kind of media darling. His performances have been abysmal which leads me to think he does not give a shit as he has all the skills
Disgraceful. Needs a serious kick up the hole.

I do hope he will come better next season otherwise we will waste another year by keeping all our hopes on players like Rashford and Greenwood. They are great and will have great future with us but they need some help and bringing in a couplw
Of players will ease pressure on them to deliver in every match.

Few sub appearances W ill ground them and make them want more.

Red Card for Casemiro!
He should stick to charity
What a terrible post.

He's scored 22 and assisted 11 this season, while missing many weeks due to a back injury and championing change in the real world. And oh, he's 22 - that is 2 years younger than any other player in the league with more than 25 G+A (next youngest, incidentally is Martial).

He's had a phenomenal season and can only get better. It baffles me how much hate he gets after an off game.

He was good before his injury but he’s been terrible since . If it was a once off game or 2 , fair enough but it’s game after game and Ole doesn’t even change him positionally or substitute him most of the time . He goes through very bad Patches for someone who is supposed to be the real deal.

The last few games he’s on the field because of name only and options on the bench.

If we sign Sancho and his performances stay at the same level it’s Rashford who will be benched.

One of his worst games for us and generally speaking a very poor end to the season.

If we get Sancho, he’ll have to sort his act out pronto, else he will find himself as super sub

You do realize that right off a serious back injury he's been thrown into an intense schedule with barely any recovery? Because he's not looked as unplayable as he did before his injury, he should 'stick to charity' instead?

What an absolute shit show from Marcus today. His decision making was really shocking. I hope he gets his confidence back starting next season otherwise he's getting benched for someone better ( hopefully Grealish).
