I thought FFP was postponed for this Season. Have I heard this wrong?City will get him to completely mock UEFA and FFP

And Arsenal. The papers have them as one of the clubs.I don't see him going to France. It's England or Itally imo. Us, Cheaty or Inter.
Messi is still the best player in the world though, and our direct rivals (City) might be favorites to get him if he leaves. If we get Messi, we could be favorites to win the title, that's his potential impact. Considering that Sancho is proving to be very expensive either, I think we should consider the Messi route seriously. The Sancho route can remain open.I'd rather not have a player (Messi or Ronaldo) who are in the twilight of their careers and become the main focus of the club for the media. I hope the club keeps the Sancho route open who is by all accounts the future.
Who can afford him?
Only a few can afford his massive wages.
Why did they fall outHim and Pep fell out towards the end of Pep's reign at Barca.
Also, will Pep want a forward that doesn't press?
It's what he's always done before isn't it?Isn't he just looking for a pay rise?
Even if its a million a week that's only 52 mil for a season, 104 for 2, 156 for 3. A lot of top clubs could afford 60m+ in a transfer fee +10 mil a year in wages so don't see why they wouldn't be able to find the money for one of the most prestigious transfers in football history.

Melt down Ferguson's statue.Time to rename the stadium Chevrolet Arena and turn the badge into the DHL logo to fund the transfer

Rojo's toasts for breakfast will be part of the offer. Is he good mates with Rojo? He might have some use after all.
Don't think so. He earns crazy money at Barcelona, can easily continue to do so. He is at war with Bartumeu.Isn't he just looking for a pay rise?
Long queue? Itll be tiny with the money involvedI see a bunch of people mentioning Tom Brady and comparing the situations. As an American who closely follows the NFL, this situation is way different. Brady is nearly 45 years old and way past his best. His list of suitors was tiny. Messi is still arguably the best in the world and will have a long queue of suitors. Brady essentially fell into the Glazers' lap. They didn't beat out 10 other teams by a massive show of ambition like they'd need to do here with Messi.
Yeah I reckon he'll move to a City, can't really picture him in a remote farming village personally. So that rules out PSG in my view. What's his likeliest destination? City?
Exactly this. And he is magnet for sponsors. And he is still top player. People making too much fuss about his wage while clubs give 200k for "normal" players and pay 60, 70, 80 mil transfer fees for them.Even if its a million a week that's only 52 mil for a season, 104 for 2, 156 for 3. A lot of top clubs could afford 60m+ in a transfer fee +10 mil a year in wages so don't see why they wouldn't be able to find the money for one of the most prestigious transfers in football history.
Why did they fall out
Finally!!, and after a 2-8. My bet would be Inter, but my heart only thinks about a Figo
