Hope this does not set off another chain of events where every TDH in Germany keeps saying "Sancho is not for sale" over and over again.

Dortmund are the biggest selling club out there, no way would they refuse an offer for any of their players if it was the player’s valuation.

The reason why i posted what I posted is because people are getting excited about a deal that isn't going to happen. People shouldn't make fools of themselves by saying 'Sancho will sign for Man United any day now' when it is clear the opposite is true.

If you really think people saying 'Sancho isn't going this summer' is the most baffling thing about this thread all summer then I'm embarrassed for you.
You seem to be easily embarrased, I feel for ya.

We are not seriously linked with any other attacking player, which to me is very very weird. My take is that this is because we are sure we will get Sancho over the line eventually.

Don't usually buy into flight tracking but hoping there is something in the info I posted in Reddit thread. We saw similar stuff just before Donny signed so that gives me a bit of hope

Honestly if you really think people are making of fools of themselves by getting excited about a potential transfer and posting in a football forum, then maybe you need to take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself who is really embarrassing themselves.

A friend of a friend works for an insurance company in London. Apparently a certain someone *wink wink nudge nudge say n’more say n’more* has taken out insurance on a Mercedes G-Wagon. The kicker is that it’s in Hertfordshire.

Clearly not the certain Sancho because he would be going to Manchester not Hertfordshire.

What is? The address he provided on the policy? Or the location of the company he went with?

We all know Ed is about breaking records, especially social media, traction etc.

So it's obvious that we can't break the clubs transfer record until we also break the transfer thread record of the last transfer record!

Come on y'all. We all need to do our part in bringing this to a close. We need another 100 or so pages before this can properly progress!
Might even need 10% more to reflect the increased fee!

Sancho remains Solskjaer’s overwhelming priority and United are encouraged by the belief he sees his future at Old Trafford.

His agent’s willingness to compromise over intermediary fees is also an indication of the determination on all sides to make the deal happen before the October 5 transfer deadline.

Didn’t you get that from all the winking and nudging? We’re in the Sancho thread! The friend of the friend said it was him. I’ve asked for more info, I’ll relay it as and when.
I see! Well let’s hope your mates aren’t pulling your leg!

Every player you mentioned looked a great player with potential, but world-class at the time of signing? I think our understanding of world-class is worlds apart. I'm talking about signing players like Bastian and Di Maria (at the time)

Anyway, when Van Djik was at Southampton, I rated him very highly, actually even when he was at Celtic. Argued with a guy on here who said Lindelof was a much better player. His argument was that LVG did not even pick him for the Dutch national team!

De Bruyne was class even at Wolsfburg, but he was attainable for United as well.
I mean hardly any players that are already thought of as "world class" are let go by clubs anyways, so that doesn't make sense. Saying Bastian was world class when we signed him is ludicrous as well.

I'm not sure what you are arguing for us to do. We are buying a player that fits exactly what we need positionally and has the potential to be a top 5 player in the world, while already being very good. Would you rather us cheap out and just throw money at a few extra players and hoping one sticks? This isn't us signing an aging Sanchez or Falcao, or a disgruntled ADM. We are signing probably the second best young player in the world and he's buzzing to join us by all accounts. It's a great match.

I don't expect any other response than the ones coming out of Dortmund and Germany. They will stand defiant and say there is no chance.

It has hallmarks of when Ronaldo was being touted to leave us. We never wanted to sell. Fergie laughed it off and said we'd never sell Ronaldo to that "mob". He said he wouldn't even sell Real Madrid a virus. Eventually Utd accepted they had to let the boy go as he really wanted to.

Similarly, if we do bid the 120m Euro, I still think Dortmund will reject it BUT only change their mind if Sancho requests that he wants to leave this summer and effectively hands a transfer request in. My fear is if he doesn't request it, then this deal won't happen this summer. However, I feel more convinced that he will agitate for a move if the bid comes in that they're looking for because he's apparently got involved to resolve the agent fees issue which suggests he really wants to push the move through.
Yeah, I'm getting similar vibes here. Let's see if we do get him this summer.
