Its not their first choice pairing. Much more solid with Cooper in there. Honestly they'll be fine this season prob 12th or there abouts.
Doubt it.

Bielsa's teams run too much for them to be able to sustain it over this crazy season where everyone is going to have ridiculous congested fixtures for the entire season.

And a nasty one too. If anyone has been to Elland Road and got some grief from their fans I could appreciate why they would prefer even the Scousers over them, but the way things are in 2020 surely Liverpool need to lose in all circumstances.
Tell me about it.

Hell on earth.

Remember Leeds and Liverpool games were always good value. Can they repeat the 4-4 job of 18 years ago?

'tis a silly place
Damn Leeds work their way through the lines so well. Really intriguing seeing a team that is so well-coordinated in their passing and movement throughout the team/pitch. United are a ways away in that regard imo.

If Thiago signs for Liverpool will be even touch the ball or will it be his responsibility to hump it down the wing?

Kalvin -phillips should be our main focus next season for the CDM position.

I swear you're always in some liverpool thread whenever I read it though!
Shhht, you'll give me away :nervous:

Seriously though, maybe it's the Van Dijk thread. He's interesting to me because he's Dutch though.

Hows Kalvin Phillips been?

I've been hoping he continues the CB/CDM thing he did for leeds in the championship in the PL.

Its only as congested as they make it, if they fully focus on the league and half arse the Cup competitions so they only have 1 fixture a week they'll be good enough.

They certainly won't go down.

Don’t think so he hasn’t picked up Firmino at all
He has shown no defensive positioning, tracking or composure at all.

I am not even sure how anyone can watch this game, and think we should buy the Leeds defensive midfielder.

Cracking game. Good watch when you don't care if either team loses. This is a classic neutral game for me, where I am not invested in any outcome but I can enjoy the game.

It's a byproduct of the way they play. They throw players forward so invariably they've got plenty of options. The trouble is, they're left wide open at the back.

Liverpool look a bit rusty to be fair, they're giving Leeds a lot of space to play their game. leeds deserves credit for playing without fear today.

I went for Mane/KDB they're no slouches tbh
Bearing in mind one isn't even playing this week - he is actually a slouch this week

Last season Salah was 0.5m more than Mane, but at equal value you gots to go with the pen taker, especially when he's a home hero!
