Those markets are incredibly fickle and the odds are not indicative of anything.
It would take a lot more than a fiver for odds to go from 6/1 to 4/7. Thiago to Liverpool seemed like a foregone conclusion for a long time, so people would have been placing large sums on that to get a decent return given they were odds-on to sign him for the entirety of the window. Someone would have had to put a decent amount of cash on United for the odds to flip that quickly. Now, it doesn't mean its indicative of anything other than jus that. However, for the odds to flip so quickly after all this time, it suggests someone, somewhere thinks something has changed. We've been more strongly linked to him in previous weeks so its interesting if nothing else.
Yeah that is the part that I find a bit strange as well but obviously someone has put some big money on it.
Personally it would need a lot more than this ITK to draw me back into this one,expect Falk or Bouhafsi to come out later and flatten our interest.
I'm trying to fathom why we'd even be going for him now unless he's already talked with Ole and knows he would be a rotational player. Is he a Matic replacement? Fred? Pogba?
I haven't watched him much at all so I don't know where he would fit in. But we are going to have a lot of games this year, and I can't see Lingard, Pereira and Mata sticking around. If its a genuine possibility to sign him, and he wants to come, then why not? Better to have that kind of selection headache than the other.

Yeah he'd walk in to our team and be first name on the team sheet if he came, arguably the best in the world in his position. I also think he'd have a bigger immediate impact on our team than even Sancho would. If there's any chance that he could end up here, we absolutely have to make it happen!
