He is right about us probably not getting top 4 though as it stands we aren`t getting ahead of Chelsea, City and LFC and with our squad depth still so poor with CL football to deal with meaning little time for rest for key players and the likes of Arsenal/Spurs/potentially Everton breathing down our necks for top 4 there is every chance we have a repeat of the 18/19 season and we sure as hell won`t get Sancho without CL football. Waiting a year is too big a risk
Sancho isn’t be all and end all to determine our top 4 qualification, let see who else we bring in first until the window closes in 3 weeks time

Yeah, we all love the Glazers. I mean we must understand the situation, the pandemic and act accordingly. But if we are not willing to pay what it takes we should walk away and invest in other areas quickly.
I think we might eventually pay up. We planned for this to go all the way to October, anyways.

This needs to happen soon. If the rumours that Barca are keen on Salah are true then we could see a new threat to the deal emerging from Merseyside.

I think the last spark of muppet hope is flickering out. Feel like this one is dead already and we're probably secretly working on an alternative. Just hope it's not Costa or Bale.
I will happily accept being banned from this forum if we sign Bale or Costa. There is absolutely zero chance of this happening. Minus zero. Ole is a lot smarter than people give him credit for.

This place will be much happier when Sancho arrives before the window ends.

This saga is doing my head in, one day I’m convinced it’s on, then convinced there’s no chance, currently drunk and on a”no chance” down curve .....

Yeah it looks like it's an old photo. He did an advert for subway last month and was wearing the exact same clothing, so those photos are likely from last month.
Isn't this an promo for the cactus jsck clothing line?

So much pages advancing with nothing credible being posted a shame. My only concern is the longer this is left what / how would Dortmund issue a replacement. Unless they go with Thorgan & Brandt as the wide men throughout their season.

They have Gio Reyna waiting to take on a bigger role too. Memphis and Zaha are also up for taking on the market.

I’ll be just disappointed as many in here if we don’t land Sancho, but I also do not think it would be the end of the world.

Many seem to be writing this current squad off but I really feel it has a lot of potential to grow and get better. We have a young squad that is still growing and hopefully improving. I’m excited to see the improvements of Mason, Martial, and Rashford for a full season. Add in a full season of Bruno and hopefully a fit Pogba this team can easily improve upon last season.

I do understand the concerns about our depth and ability to compete on multiple fronts but I don’t know if Sancho really solves that problem.

Do they really care? They're not gonna win shit this season with or without Sancho. And their CL spot is secured with or without him also.

For our front 4, we have VdB as the only credible rotation option off for Bruno. Else it's Ighalo (half decent) or Lingard or James or Mata or Pereira. Good luck.

You can't since the problem in one window. At least with Sancho it will improve the situation by improving the first 11.

If there was one thing to take away from yesterdays game it was that Dan James and Lingard doesn't cut the mustard. If we get an injury on our starting 3 we are fecked in a big way.

Really hope we get some progression on this in the coming week.

Please tell me you’re joking?

Because no adult would surely get them self into that much of a state because of a transfer rumour.
No self respecting adult would claim to have inside ITK information and make serious claims of announcements within a specific time frame (It's now Monday 14th). In this thread it's like dangling a score in front of a junkie chained to a wall fella. You need to pay for your war crimes.

Did anyone need to watch yesterday’s game to realise this?

If it isn't Sancho then I'd leave the RW spot vacant for Greenwood and get to work on plugging some of the other gaps, like DM, LB, CB etc and then make that all.important move for Sancho next summer but this time just do quickly and get him in early before the Euros so his future is resolved.

However, I do still have the utmost confidence that the move will be done in this window.

Rolling on to another Monday. No closer to signing Sancho. At least we'll hit 1000 pages today...
