I stupidly clicked it, £12m plus add ons. I think we'd listen if they offered £16m plus add ons.
You took one for the team. What did we pay for him? If we recoup what we paid, then yes.

I think £16m, I'd say if they offered £16m plus add ons taking it to £20m we'd take it. It'd just leave us horrendously short, unless we brought in another young winger for a low risk fee, like Stevanovic.

The disrespect

Us United fans dont know what we want

Want to mould players into world class players but also want players already world class

Entitled to the max
There's more chance of Boris Johnson uniting a nation than James becoming world class

To be honest his current performance doesn't deserve him place at United. While others have a dip in form or fitness, for James, this is his level

That's exactly what we should do - or that Traore kid.

He is not very good, never has been and never will be good enough for a major club wanting to win things. He is certainly never being moulded into a WC player either. Nothing about entitlement, he is simply average at best and I’m Welsh, I honestly don’t rate him more than a Championship level player.

It's a pity it's a blacklisted account reporting Spurs want to sign Jesse for 30m

Why the hell would Spurs want Jesse?
Jose got performances out of him. They're thin in depth for the final third. But I don't know why or how they'd spunk 30m on him. I'd take it though. Even half.

Well we can only dream I guess. Bet Spurs fans wouldn’t be too impressed.

We would be lucky to get any fee for him given the size of his wages. No chance spurs would be interested

I dont miss Jose thats for sure but he did put pressure on the board for signings and is doing the same at spurs. I do prefer ole obviously but he just doesn't seem the type to demand like that. He does appear from the outside at least to be the ideal manager for the people above him who are business first driven.
All his external pressure on the board counted for little cause he didn't get the signings he wanted and all it did was upset the squad he had.

I'm not sure we should sell him. Hear me out first before deciding ive lost my mind.
As I see it he will be third choice if he stayed for next season.
Now heres the thing, if De Gea is our number one I can see Henderson leave next summer unless he gets assurances about him being number1 next year and De Gea won't stick around being a back up. If Henderson gets the nod this season I can see De Gea moving either in Jan or Sunmer.

Either way I can't see De Gea and Henderson (beyond this season)being a back up. Which means as soon as one leaves we are going to need back up keeper.

Maybe I'm missing a youngest at the club that would take the back up slot? If there's no one it might be worth trying to keep Sergio. Having said that he may not want to not play all season only to end up and at best a back up again.

Didn’t Emi Martinez just go for 20m? Surely Sergio worth at least half that?
Emi Martínez showcased during the end of last season, he can be no.1 material, and younger. Even if he failed, he has some resell value.

Romero, next club could be his last. He is solid as back up option, but no solid proof he can transit to be a no 1 now that he even lost his Argentine NT GK status.

Would be happy to see him loaned to see what Bielsa can make of him. Too early to call it quits I think. Although I do worry he looks exactly like what he is... A championship player trying to make it in the PL.

Yeah, but he is younger and went to a PL club. Spanish clubs are skint right now.
I can see him integrating perfectly into Bielsa's high pressing, balls to the wall work your socks off system.
Why does he need to force a move? It's 20 million euros for fecks sake.
Unless we are going to meet Dortmund's demands for Sancho and are going to be pretty skint ourselves...

Seriously ? Should I laugh or something ? Our priority is 3 players, where the feck was this throughout the whole market, and why did we wait till the last 2 weeks to start moving ? This is a joke, and a bad one too.

Selling clubs wait till last 2 weeks to extract as much as money as possible and buying clubs wait till end to reduce price as much as possible. It has always been this way and is even more understandable during COVID times.
Our opening fixtures were fairly easy so there wasn't any urgency because of that.

Yet still no talk of a DM because Ole naively thinks Fred & McTominay can cover Matic but hopefully the penny will drop there end of the season.

Know it's not gonna happen but wish we could buy a player who is capable of playing CB but also can cover at CDM.

Tempting but United need numbers in attack right now. We are light as is to be honest
Does Dan James offer anything for us upfront? If 20-25m can bridge the gap between what we can offer for say Sancho and what Dortmund want, I'd make the deal.

Do you reckon we could get that much for him? I’d be happy if we just got our money back if it meant we could use the funds to strengthen the squad.

So James is good for Bielsa but not for the caftards?
Is Leeds gonna fight for top 4 at least? Not even considering about trying closing the gap to title contenders. Different objectives.

I’d get rid of James. Maybe a loan in the first instance. He just doesn’t look good enough to me. Seems a nice kid, so I really want it to work out but he looks void of all ideas.

He’d fit Leeds much better. Teams aren’t going to play with a low block against Leeds.

He simply isn’t good enough for us, with the way that teams set up against us.

But according to the "experts" over here he s shite. I m assuming that Bielsa can recognize a good from a "shite" player, no?
