All getting desperate now for the bs merchants because it looks like we're doing jack-sh*t.

HELLO
'An agent has offered a player' might be my favourite transfer line of all time

Under soil heating.
No one has. Luckhurst alluded to Vitaliy Mykolenko a long while back, but he hasn't been mentioned by anyone else (not then or since).
Don't you think it's weird how he doesn't name them? I've never seen him do this with another potential transfer.

Seems like a Mitten stir quote. We were probably offered Rakitic or someone and he reckons that’s what fans would be “very, very happy” with.

Unnamed player, unnamed agent. He’s chatting shit.

Wasn't it Mitten that linked Coman to United in the Athletic? No other journalist has really picked up on that story so could potentially be that player. If not bullshit.
Bayern is a winger short themselves. Coman was never going anywhere.

I thought these guys were banned anyway.
They're fine if they cite their source, but they don't do a good job of citing sources anyways.

If you want to know the info came from the Talk of the Devils podcast where Laurie Whitwell, Carl Anka, and Andy Mitten discussed United transfer stories.

Great squad player for us but would be fantastic if we can start offloading players now. PIckford is shite too so I hope this happens.
The Problem is we will improve Everton without buying any players and improve their chances of finishing above us.

What's your background with going to United games out of interest?
ST holder from 1991 to 2015. Been to 2 CL finals out of 4 in my life time, loads of fa cup finals etc.

Won't go ever again. Breaks my heart seeing what's it done to us.

Nope. He was previously linked with Villa and Leeds. This is the first time I've seen Everton's name pop up.
Thought so. Quite a coincidence that someone mentioned Romero to Everton earlier in the Jordan Pickford thread. Obviously it seemed a logical suggestion but it’s funny it’s now actually a rumour.

That's just a 'cut your nose off, to spite your face' situation. We support Manchester United first and foremost, we buy our season tickets because we love the club, it's history and want to back the players, to be there for the moments of euphoria that happen in the future that we've witnessed in the past.

I can tell you now that people buying season tickets won't matter a jiffy to them, there'll always be someone next in line. The waiting list for season tickets at United when we got ours was 30 years!

Where it'll hit them the most is sponsorships. The Chevrolet deal runs out at the end of the season, if our next best offer is half or less than half of what the Chevrolet deal is, that'll make them think as the value of their asset lessens.

As much as it pains me to say, they're here to stay for the foreseeable future. We're currently in a pandemic which will likely see the end to fans in stadiums this season and they've already said they're not listening to those boycotting and having tirades on social media. What other options do us the fans have?
This is the type of attitude which means they will win. You're just giving in. And you will eventually come around to my thinking one day.

Gave my ticket up after going for 25 years. Never thought I could do it but I did. I still watch the games but glad I no longer contribute a single penny to the Glazers.

This is all gas-lighting nonsense. Outrage seeking. Who gives a feck if the ‘fans would probably like’ a player? Is that the criteria with which our manager should look to construct a team? If we didn’t want the player, we didn’t want him.

Probably Cavani if there is a high profile player being touted to clubs, it's probably him. Difference being I would be very very unhappy with a move.

Making up stuff following what Evra said. These people just write whatver gets the highest eye balls
United report are useless. Why allow them here?

These journalists starved of real news are embarrassing themselves. Only Ole and Manchester United know what they want. Its not going to be influenced by a journalist recommending a player on Twitter.

Its also clear that Woodward and his team are being careful in the transfer market now. They don't want to be fleeced.

Granted they are taking long to seal deals because they lack the necessary skills. But in a world where no income is guaranteed, better to be cautious.

It’s not about winning or losing.
Why does anyone want to lose anyway?

Just by not going to the games you really thing that they’re just gonna sell up?

Never gonna happen in a million years.

United is too expensive to purchase for the majority of big wigs now anyway. You’ll need a consortium to buy us out.

If going by what Evra said the other day, the Glazers love the club and it’s Matt Judge who is the issue and Woodward trusts those beneath him too much.

Reading between the lines Judge does the negotiations and Woodward just signs off on it.

Anyway, by watching TV you’re giving the Glazers money anyway via the Tv deals.

It’s not about winning or losing, support the club and go watch them, don’t spite yourself in some disagreement with the club it’s akin to shouting at a wall. It won’t work.
