Diangana and Pereira look like they're going to be interesting to watch this season.

This. He doesn't even react when they score, he's almost shocked.
Well we all are tbf, it's his overrating of the new players that's doing my head in. He even went as far to mention Havertz's best shot so far in the PL earlier in the game :wenger:

German fans told us that Werner wasnt as good against low blocks, its looking that way to be honest.

Martin Tyler still bigging up Chelsea when theyre 3 down in 25 mins.
Yeah Martin, its a huge problem for the side waltzing through Chelsea defence that theres an hour left. They might run out of celebrations to make.
how dare some cannon fodder team beat a Sky sports top 6 team.

Werner is most definitely a #9, he was world class for Leipzig playing as a poacher. But a poacher is what he is. Havertz is a 2nd striker like Muller too. Their best 11 without a doubt IMO has Pulisic on the left, Ziyech on the right, Werner and Havertz as the front 2.
Correct in almost every aspect, but Werner wasn't "world-class" for Leipzig.

He scored a lot of goals last season, yes, but so have guys like Mario Gomez, Anthony Modeste or Stefan Kiessling in some seasons.

A world-class striker has to be more than a poacher with nice pace.

Have Chelsea done what we tend to do and perhaps brought players for non essential positions when they'd have been better off sorting the defence first then later down the line adding more "premium" and "luxury" players for other positions. Its like us and the gaping right wing hole.

Still expect them to come back

That’s pretty obvious though. He plays off the shoulder so a deep defence is his kryptonite. He’s a very limited player. He‘s the kind of player you need to build your team around but he’s not really good enough for that.

Barkley for Kante
Giroud for Abraham
Anyone for Alonso

If Chelsea have even the slightest chance of salvaging a point

Kante shouldn't be playing that close to opposition goal. He is a world class mopper but expecting him to be creative is too much.

Also shouldn’t he be playing up front and not on the left?

Fair, world class is pushing it but he was definitely excellent and consistently put up excellent underlying numbers and actual goals. He can play out wide but it's not the best use of him at all.
