What the heck are we playing at? I would have thought the club would have categorically put out a statement by denying interest or walk away or just stay absolutely quiet after BVB statement today. As someone has already stated, if we’ve bid £91m already which was rejected and we are £17m away from the asking price, then as good as he is it makes the VDB deal at 40m euro even more bizarre considering Sancho was the priority and RW the priority position. If lack of funds is the excuse, then that’s poor management. RW was a bigger concern and priority than midfield.

So it’s under their evaluation and also spread over 5 years. Pointless but at least if true we’ve made a bid.

But it sounds like an attractive offer, and suggests we also have one more offer possible after this. But our issue is clearly cashflow over next few years due to covid19 income loss.
We dont have the cashflow to do much better than this!
