We have the better XI, but they have the best two players on the pitch in Son and Kane, and the only world class ones bar Bruno (think he’s world class). Depends what you prefer really when predicting the score. I’m going 2-1 United, but it’s my heart ruling my head.

Having said that, if Son is only fit enough for the bench or half-fit, we should be fine.

Despite both managers prefer counter atacking football i think that this will be great game with lots of goals. 3-2 win.
Kane is not the same player without Son and Spurs are not the same team without Son. Martial and Rashford will destroy their back 4.
This game will be the first 0-0 of the season

AWB needs to be in form for this one and I'd play Bailly ahead of Lindelöf after that Brighton performance.

    Martial
    Rashford Bruno Greenwood
    Pogba Matic
    Shaw Maguire Bailly AWB
    deGea
I'd play Bailly ahead of maguire - and keep Lindelof in

If Spurs get a win here, Jose will be insufferable forever about "my incredible boys".

    You have to beat them.
I’m afraid we’re all going to have to cope with Smug Jose. United are officially in the Drift phase of Solskjær’s tenure.

Son is being ridiculously overrated in here, then again I'm not surprised given this place tend to do that in regard to opposition players, especially when we're about to face them.

Son is a good player, nothing more, nothing less. The way he's talked about in here one might think we're about to deal with fecking Messi

He is one of the best attackers in the league.

When you have Lindelof and Maguire who made Zaha look like Messi the other day, you aren't really in a position to call out Son.

First game of the season, the whole team looked off and lacking in fitness. Seen this argument about our defense being kack and making any decent attacker look world class one time to often now, and it never turns out that way more often than not.

Obviously there is always a risk and Tottenham are are threat of course with the likes of Kane, Son etc but people as usual exaggerate the opponents threat like they do before every game against us.

I agree that we haven't looked too convincing at the back so far, with us already conceding 5 goals in the league, not to mention that defensive display against Brighton was down right awful. Here hoping that this now being our 5th game of the season, the team will be a lot sharper and more focused then our first 2 opening games in the league.

A loss here and I think morale among fans will be incredibly low during the International Break. If nothing new occurs, a very poorly planned summer window with a big mountain to climb to catch up with the top 6 teams. It's early days, but I don't want us to bank on a end-of-season stretch to get us where we want to be again.

I think this will be a boring game and we will not win. I can just see that if we do lose, then it'll be all down to " if we'd have just paid the money dortmund were asking in the 1st place ... etc ", when the real reason will be quite clear that Ole is quite one dimensional in his tactics and will have played someone out of position too

Who have we got that would play “in position” on RW?

But I don’t expect nuance from ideologues.

An International break after this will make a loss even more grim. Ole has got to pull out a win here.

Pretty much my feeling. Tottenham will defend deep and try to counter. United always find it difficult to break deep defending because we play in front of their defence. Not enough width.

We did beat them here last season with a weaken team but yeah Ole is crap.

Can't people just wait until at least the game is over before posting negative shite ?

I am sure that we are winning this. Jose just doesn't have luck with Man Utd. And that will continue. They will be better team but we will counter them to death.

Hope you're right. Not feeling confident at all. Tottenham's attack is finally clicking while our defense is getting shittier by the week

We need Post and Pen to be on form for us, otherwise can't see us winning

United have one big advantage: less fatigue, because Spurs have played an extra game this week compared to United. You are also at home, tho' this advantage is lessened by the ban on fans attending.

I'm interested to see who starts for Spurs at LB and RB. Will Reguillon be chosen (ahead of Davies) this early in his time at Spurs? Will Aurier start ahead of Doherty (given that Doherty has played two full games since last weekend)?

Need to keep it tight till the 60th minute if possible. The strain of playing 4th game in a week will start to show on Spurs. We can destroy them than or the other scenario is Spurs come flying out of the traps and have a comfortable 3 goal advantage.

Anyway we need a win today . Any other result and the transfer window closing will bring double dose of depression!

Do you guys think pogba is going to scan his surroundings and release the ball quickly under pressure or receive the pass and try to dribble out of trouble in our own half today? Im thinking the only way we lose is through something like this.
