Oh dear, with covid-19 going nowhere soon and the return of fans nowhere in sight they'll be lucky to get 80 million by the time the next window opens. Just ask Napoli what happened with Koudibaly...
Or Torino with Belotti or Lazio with SM Savic or PSG with Verratti.

They don't want to sell him anyway, big point being missed

But he wants to go and his contract and his value only decreases within the next year, they made a mistake.
No they didn't
They can still sell him for a reasonable fee, but they get another year with a world class player. Another shot at the title this season. Football is about winning trophies not raising your bank balance (something United should learn)

Manchester United have reached an agreement with Atalanta for the future transfer of Amad Diallo, one of the most exciting young prospects in Italian football.
The 18-year-old Ivorian right-winger has been on the radar of United scouts since 2016, when he was spotted playing at Under-15 level, and the club have been tracking his progress since.

Sounds extremely plausible and shame on us for not getting the deal done. Everyone would've been up for the season.

Like others have said, CL is unlikely and there'll be more competition next summer. We've already waited 12 months. Don't think we'll be signing Sancho now.
