Pallestri is rated highly too, apparently City were interested in him as wellNo? Diallo is costing a lot. Thats the only one.
Hell yeahI imagine most would take him if selling James meant a balance of 10m or so?
Apparently they were in for Fred and Maguire too... The fee seems to be less than 10 million euros, im sure he's not being counted onPallestri is rated highly too, apparently City were interested in him as well
If it gets confirmed I guess we will see after the international breakApparently they were in for Fred and Maguire too... The fee seems to be less than 10 million euros, im sure he's not being counted on
Maybe if Sarr does still come in he will prove us all wrong but not holding my breath on that oneLet's wait till 10/16/20 to be disappointed some more while we wait for Dumb (Ed) and Dumber (Matt) to ruin our moods yet again by signing a deal with something ridiculous like handerpants or hairy stockings
So try again for Sancho next summer provided he actually get champions league football of courseNo thanks to him.
Hope my preorders don’t turn out like this.Another winger. Its like PlayStation 5 preorders for me when I panicked and ended up with 4 of them
Also we could offer James (on loan) to them and save maybe 3-5M in the transfer. If Sarr is too expensive, I would take a punt at Benrahma (25 years of age and has been doing really well for Brentford) for 20m.
Does he play more on the LW or RWIf Sarr is too expensive, I would take a punt at Benrahma (25 years of age and has been doing really well for Brentford) for 20m.
He plays mostly on the LW for Brentford but can play anywhere across the front 3 since he's two footed. He's a goal scoring winger and reminds me off Eden Hazard. He's an intelligent player unlike Dan James who runs and crosses the ball with his head down.Does he play more on the LW or RW
So why the hell aren't we interested then?He plays mostly on the LW for Brentford but can play anywhere across the front 3 since he's two footed. He's a goal scoring winger and reminds me off Eden Hazard. He's an intelligent player unlike Dan James who runs and crosses the ball with his head down.
Yeah same with Brooks to an extent tooThe thing is with Sarr he at least has proven he could do fairly decent in the prem but instead we took a punt on two unknown youngsters, one who won't join until january and the other I can barely see getting many minutes at all. Not saying Sarr is a phenomenal talent or anything but it would make more sense getting him given the sitation we were in.
I think Sarr has potential to get to Mane's level which doesn't seem all that bad. Klopp was looking to get O Dembele and then Sarr and he eventually settled for Jota. We needed an established RW and that's gonna hurt us once again. The thing is with Sarr he at least has proven he could do fairly decent in the prem but instead we took a punt on two unknown youngsters, one who won't join until january and the other I can barely see getting many minutes at all. It's because Ed doesn't want to spend 20 odd million on a 25 year old but rather an 18 year old who would have better sell on value. The problem is this club is treated as a business and not as a football club. We shouldn't be called MUFC but MU, LLC or MU Inc. instead. So why the hell aren't we interested then?
Sarr was on Klopp's list. I wouldn't call him shite. Brooks isn't all that bad as well. Both players are considerably better than Dan James and Lingard.Brooks and Sarr are shite, and there's a reason nobody else is interested in them.
Is this how far our standards have dropped?
Klopp was after him as a bench option. We'd be signing him as a starter. Big difference. Also, better than James and Lingard isn't saying much, obviously. We should be aiming much higher than mediocrity, if we have any aspirations to return to what we once were. Though, sadly, I don't think we have those aspirations any more. It's all about spending as little as possible to try to achieve the minimum of top 4.Sarr was on Klopp's list. I wouldn't call him shite. Brooks isn't all that bad as well. Seems hard to believe we will move for either now we have just signed two players in that positionSarr was on Klopp's list. I wouldn't call him shite. Brooks isn't all that bad as well. Both players are considerably better than Dan James and Lingard.
Fair enough he was being considered a bench option. How many wingers you know (besides Messi) would go to Liverpool and actually displace Mane and Salah? No doubt we should be aiming much higher but at the moment, if we are to add any more players before Oct 16th, we've got to look at players locally and there aren't any better than Sarr.Klopp was after him as a bench option. Just don't buy anyone, and get someone of quality next window. Our problem here of late, is that we buy mediocrity, and they are "good enough for now" so we move onto another position. Before we know it, there's mediocrity everywhere. Taking a scatter gun approach will never have us competing again, as we will just go round and round in circles without really adding much in the way of top quality players. Buy one or two top players each window, instead of 7 shitters.Fair enough he was being considered a bench option. It's more akin to pre-ordering PS5's and getting confirmation emails for PS2's.Another winger. Its like PlayStation 5 preorders for me when I panicked and ended up with 4 of them
Do you feel the same for the likes of Benrahma & Buendia as wellThank feck we did not go for this. Not at the required level. Nowhere near.
Honestly don’t know much about either player but I think they would have gotten their big move if a club wanted them enough. Maybe Covid has affected this.Do you feel the same for the likes of Benrahma & Buendia as well
Buendia looked decent for Norwich but who knows whether or not Benrahma is capable of making the step upHonestly don’t know much about either player but I think they would have gotten their big move if a club wanted them enough. Maybe Covid has affected this.
Im surprised someone didn’t go for Buendia. Tidy player and he’s already shown he’s too good for championship.Buendia looked decent for Norwich but who knows whether or not Benrahma is capable of making the step up
Still time for someone to snap him up and same with Benrahma as wellIm surprised someone didn’t go for Buendia. Tidy player.
i doubt we will sign anyone else and I doubt we will be back in for Sancho next year either. Such a weird window!Still time for someone to snap him up and same with Benrahma as well
Still think we might get him next year if champions league get secured, however could be argued that CB & DM will be even higher priority by theni doubt we will sign anyone else and I doubt we will be back in for Sancho next year either. Such a weird window!
True but they've bought a lot of shite CBs and FBs and spent a fortune on them for real so what's the point?Apparently they were in for Fred and Maguire too... The fee seems to be less than 10 million euros, im sure he's not being counted on
