Does this happen in other countries? I've only ever seen it mentioned with regards to the States.
Happens in Canada as well but we're America Jr. so not sure if that counts.

Interesting, is the vote count public as the election is still going on? In Norway it is illegal to publish any election results or even exit poll results until all polling stations have been closed (to avoid influencing the election, presumably).
Should people who are factually ignorant at best or plain idiots at worst even be allowed to vote ?

Depends! Say, if Biden wins Florida then it is as good as done early. However, if it hinges on PA then it might drag on.

It depends to be honest. Early voting in Florida is actually incredibly efficient. If Biden wins Florida and North Carolina this will be over by midnight. If its close and PA is who we are waiting on then this won't be over for a couple days because of how they count ballots.

I don’t believe these are actual vote counts. Just a count of how many registered democrats republicans and non-affiliated voters have voted. Not actually how they’ve voted.

Yep, in fact there may even be a larger percentage of registered Reps voting Dem this year than the other way around (some polling data out there to back this up) so we really won't know until votes start getting counted.
And don't you forget it. We may have a need for that frozen wasteland someday so keep it safe.

It's interesting how many Trump supporters fear communism. It's an absolute non-threat to the US and there's no way communism will grow in the US in the next 100 years at least, yet these guys can't stop bringing it up.

Exit polls are banned in the US as well, until voting is fully concluded (I hope I am remembering this correctly).
