Reporter on BBC makes a good point if Trump wins he won’t have to worry about a re-election so he would be unchained and even more destructive than he is now.

A super Trump so to speak..
I bet Andrew Neil was licking his lips

Yeah I was thinking more about Graham keeping his seat.

But yeah, polls seemed to be wrong outside the margin of error in an awful lot of places.
Graham was a toss up but won by 10 or so. Same on Montana. Maine was supposed to go to Dems (a few points), but Collins is leading by almost 10 points. McConnell was supposed to win by around 10 but won by 15. In North Carolina it was lean Dem but seems that GOP won the senate race, while no one considered GOP competitive in Wisconsin against an incumbent, but they are leading.

The polling has been way off this time. It is always a bit in favor of Dems, but this time seems to have exaggerated their chances.

I can’t work out if CNN is slow, or my stream is behind. You were all talking about Biden leading in WI about 6 minutes before CNN reported it.
The web stream is a little behind but CNN have taken their time with most results.

It's not a democracy as far as I'm concerned. They need to bin the two party system, get rid of the ridiculous gerrymandering, make voting a right for all citizens over the age of 18 (or whatever limit they want) and get in proportional representation in some form so votes on parties outside the big two aren't wasted.
Why would "they" do that. They have a monopoly on power right now.

That’s not what i said. Apparently you think that every Trump voter hates gays and black people. I say that it cant be the case, i’m pretty sure that Trump got some black votes and some of those votes came from black gays.
still, you try to portray every Trump voter as a hater.
And do not insult me.
That isn't what was said though. It's quite clear so I'm not sure what the confusion is

Anyone that voted for Trump is either a racist/sexist/etc and voted for him for those reasons, or they are not racist/sexist/etc directly themselves but have no problem that Trump is. Those are the only two options.

An arselicking, hypocritic, closet mofo > black guy in South Carolina in 2020.

Milwaukee 100 % reporting. CNN were counting on Biden to extend his lead there as they thought only 90% had been counted.

Setback?

You've got to be fecking shitting me  What exactly has the current administration brought upon the western world that previous administrations hasn't done to a far worse extent.
A feckin virus that killed a million people? Can't keep calling yourself the most powerful man in the world, the most powerful nation etc. and play no part in the most significant crisis in a quarter of a century. Imagine if the most powerful person had been someone intelligent, competent and trustworthy? Sars 2019 would have gone the way of previous SARS.

And yeah, if he's gonna take credit for ending war in Kosovo then i'm blaming 95% of deaths from Covid on him personally too.

What’s crazy is right at this moment, Biden has a fair chance of winning with the exact same electoral college margin Trump did it 2016, 306-232, should he sweeps the Rust Belt and get GA.

For all the panic in here and there’s been a lot of panic, the only toss-up Trump has won so far is Florida. He’s lost Arizona with both Georgia and North Carolina still in play.
NC is surely as good as gone?

Sorry but this is so not true.
Tonight is the chance for the leading country in the Western world, a country whose culture and politics for some reason still set the tone for what half of the rest of the world strive towards after the US has gone through it, to finally elect someone again, who is not some racist, mysoginist, dividing, hateful, deceiving, villain. Trump not being reelected would be huge, even if his replacement was an actual camel. The stuff the Trump administration has already given legitimacy, the divide the Trump administration has brought upon the Western world, the disregard for the rest of the world that Trump has shown within his presidency, the values of the US going backwards for another 4 years...it's clear to see that he must at all costs be replaced this election.
Amen.

Not to mention the continued China trade war, the death of net neutrality, spreading and legitimizing anti science, etc etc

It really is. Biden made a lot of racists remarks, does that mean most of his voters are racists?
I yearn for the day when right wingers can debate an issue without resorting to whataboutism.
As if these supposedly "racist remarks" Biden made decades ago is equivalent to dismantling a law that protects the rights of LGBTQ folks.
Go to a Trump rally, a conservative American forum or any of the Pro Trump political commentators on Youtube and ask the members in the comments for their views on homosexuality.

Wow. Milwaukee is fully counted. That’s not amazing news for Biden.
Patience. It really comes down to who’s left. I can’t stress how divided WI was when it came to early vs Election Day. If these are only absentee, even in red counties, they may be at worst 50/50

Well, if the rest of the absentee votes are 50-50, Biden wins Wisconsin. So it's not a bad position.

What on Earth happened with the Senate? Even Susan Collins who looked a dead woman walking for months seem to have won quite comfortably (not yet projected but has a very big lead with 15% of the votes remaining).
Genuinely this is the biggest shock for me. Even that absolute moron in Georgia has seemingly battered Ossoff - admittedly I'm no expert, but the difference between the two in their TV debate was more striking than anyone versus Trump.

Might be people who dislike Trump but want an R senate to block Biden?

Milwaukee is at 100%. Unless it is majority of mail vote remaining, can't see Biden holding his narrow lead.

Sitting here watching betfair, not even looking at the coverage. This is mad. Trump jumping from around 1.7 to 2.0 every few seconds, Biden 2.0 to 2.3.

Seen some people doing betfair scalping in the past where they take advantage of short-term odds changes ahead of horse races etc. and they lock in a profit whoever wins. With the way this is fluctuating there must be a lot of opportunity for that.
