Approximately 1m mail-in ballots left in PA with a 70/30 split for Biden would still see him fall short by about 100-150k votes, right? Doesn't look good if that's true.

Nope. I been saying all day that Trump will take PA. I don't know where the optimism on here is coming from. That's a hefty lead and the first lot of mail voting hasn't narrowed the gap anywhere near enough.

I'm seeing the current 5.5m votes being an estimated 78% of the total, which implies there's still ~1.6m votes to be counted. Just looking at the maps though..

True. He needs around 75% to get it (he has been winning 78% until the latest update).

It is gonna be very very close.

Why is the postal vote expected to be more democrat?
Lots of reasons. Covid being a big one. However there's something about republicans and wanting to queue up for hrs and do it it person. They wear it as a badge of honour.

Because it has been across the US all through out this election state by state. That's why they expect, but you never know, they could be for Trump.........

So what's the expectation if Trump takes this to the SCOTUS? Does he get back in via that route?

Quelle surprise.

I hope they follow up on this whether they need to or not.
The USPS does some crazy things to be fair. I had a package being sent to me in Toronto from San Diego. According to the tracking, it got sent from California to Detroit, went back to California and then came back to Canada.

Because GOP thinks that covid is a lie made by Democrats so the election happens by mail * and so they steal the election. Consequently, they voted in the polls (without masks).

* It doesn't matter that the post is controlled by a Trump sycophant. Soros, Bill Gates, and some other pedophiles still are stealing the election.

Isn’t that only in Philli? Doesn’t include the number of mail in ballots across the state which even in counties which are red, have closed the margin. So not yet over.

Agree. I think it will be close but ultimately will go Trump. PA was always supposed to be closer than Michigan and Wisconsin. For PA to go blue, MI and WI needed to be relatively comfortable, not marginal victories IMO (considering that both of them significantly outperformed PA, and that Ohio went much redder than expected).

So half done and his lead has gone down from 700k to 500k?
700k already included about 1 million of mail-ins I think. So the lead has gone down by 200k in a sample size of less than 300k.

It's due to covid, Dems have used postal votes to record their vote while Republicans showed up on the day to vote. Which I probably would have done myself if I was an American. Get to avoid the Trump fans with their guns as well to be fair.
