Don't think the courts will rule against Biden if has wins with a five figure lead because if they keep Trump in power despite him losing the popular vote by 4-5 mill and the Electoral College, there is going to be a full on civil war. Don't think the courts would want that.

For the love of feck. I wake up and AGAIN it's not done. That's it, I'm calling Mark Rutte, we will invade and install our own president. Operation yankee freedom.

lead in PA down to 18,229. Biden got 5,073 of a batch of 5,799 which is 87.5%. Trump got 726.

Biden will win but this is excruciatingly slow process. It's an actually embarrassing.

California is only at 76% reporting at the moment, and usually take up to 3 weeks to finish and certify the count.

People are just used to seeing the result quickly. This year with a combination of pandemic, record turnout, Republican legislature ratfecking and razor thin margin is just the perfect storm.

It’s the process. Let it unfold.
Anything else is disruptive and will cause trouble.
I think our sporadic bitching on an Ireland-based football forum has little chance of causing trouble. We're not that powerful.

Clayton looks like it will be a 3000-600 split in Biden's favour at worst. That flips the state. Then add in votes from other counties on top of that. Georgia is blue.

Be patient, think of it this way: this is dragging out the inevitable for fatty boom boom. A slow death.

The results were called early in the past because you could extrapolate results based on the margins and amount of votes left which you cannot do now because the votes counted early are different from the mail in votes.

I think we're all just desperately eager for that beautiful moment when PA turns blue on the election maps.

Would be great if the guys at CNN now didn’t talk over each other!

I would say Clark County is more of a slam dunk than Maricopa at this point as Biden's margin will only expand in the former while his margin will drop further in the latter, although probably by not enough to affect the final result.
In the latter though the expectation is it might actually widen. Apparently it was late mail in which skewed republicans but polling day drop offs were relatively even between registered Dems and Reps. So factoring independents it might widen or stay the same or tighten but the expectation is not by much in either way.

Well, I know the reliability of polls is... in doubt, to say the least, but worth noting that the latest Military Times poll among active-duty troops had Biden ahead of Trump by a few percent.

Even if they were wrong, military ballots are unlikely to be dominated by either candidate. I don't think they'll make much difference but we'll see.
Interesting. That’d be good news.

Seems like it was a fun night.
This is a question I've been wondering since election night when he started his guff.

Trump definitely would have done a speech like tonight too if he'd lost to Hillary.

I'd say the GOP are just waiting to see vote totals, how court challenges look like they might go, then they'll see sense and publicly call for a peaceful transition. Hopefully. Surely there's no way they can go all-in on this madness.

I was sort of surprised that we didn't hear more about Russian interference this time around, but maybe they figured letting Biden win would be better because of the civil unrest Trump is going to now cause.

So another few hours then, atleast?
If my estimate of the votes outstanding is correct, could be up to 4 hours. On current trajectory it should flip in 2.5 hours.

At this point it’s likely Biden will go into the lead in PA before GA, and networks will probably call it when he’s 10k up.

Now Republicans are openly discussing using Republican controlled legislature in Pennsylvania to override the electors, Is there any possibility of this happening and is it even legally possible?
