The polls in the Midwest were uniformly off by at least 4 points in the aggregate of traditional, high quality pollsters. It’s the 2nd election in a row they’ve made this error. There’s no 2 ways about it, there’s something deeply wrong with how they gather data there.
In 93% of counties worst hit by the virus, Trump overperformed his 2016 margin.
My speculation is their existing method work decently well with the diversifying states since it matches the changing demographic at large, but in state trending red, Trump’s success at turning out low propensity voters have created a new dynamic that matching voters file data or registration simply didn’t work, even with weighting for education level.

He can and he is. This is the guy that mused about injecting bleach into the veins as a cure for Covid-19. This is the guy that thought he he could just magically wish the virus away. This is the guy that thinks windmills cause cancer.
I think the small print on the emails he's sending out is a bigger clue to one of the main reasons he's pretending not to get it. He's stringing his supporters along as much as he can so he gets as much money out of them as possible. The more he plays it up, the crazier his supporters get (if that's possible) and the more money they'll hand over.

And you know what... when they were pulling lottery numbers the other night I had the first 3 in a row and was on course for a big win, but the longer it went on and the more numbers they drew, I watched my chances disappear! Totally corrupt!

I for sure wouldn't vote repulican if I were an American, but the democrates I know and the ones I see comment/talk are all talking literally trash about _every_ republican. And there lies the issue.
