Leicester really dominating Wolves so far wasn’t expecting this
We’re technically a good side now. I’ll be happier once we get Ricardo and Castigne back to player fullbacks, as that’s where we lack experience.

What do you make of Praet I see him get a lot of flack but I think he’s a good player..

It's not Rodgers or Puel . It's their recruitment setup. Simply flawless and no real pressure for the players. No one expects them to finish top 6 and so it gives players an opportunity to express themselves. One of the best run clubs - huge respect Leicester.

He’s a workhorse of a player, technically very good. He’s very tidy and a lot better than Perez that we normally ply on the right.

What? He gambles and throws himself before Vary actually shoots, something De Gea gets lambasted for in here, and Vardy hits him in the fecking groin of all places.
I think there’s more to it than pure dumb luck.

If that was the case then DDG would’ve had a better save rate than 1 in 21 or whatever he’s managed.

Then explain it, what makes Vardys miss a great save? Patricio has already committed to diving to that side, same as he dived for Vardys first penalty, before the shot is taken, so if Vardy plays it cool he can roll it in the opposite corner. Nor is it much of a save, Vardy hammers it at Patricios body

He gambles on which side Vardy will shoot and he gets hit by the ball.

I'm sure there will have been some research/ analysis done by the GK department regarding where who usually takes the pen, their run up pattern and where they usually end up placing it.

Part of it is luck, yes - but part of it is also the GK's anticipation and work that he may have done with the coaching staff prior to the game. It's the reason why some GK's are better penalty stoppers than others.

I thought Neves was supposed to be brilliant in these situations.. crap free kick. No wonder he hasn't scored in league for over a year.

I was just coming to say that Leicester have another CB that we may be interested in - Fofana.

So you can't explain how it's a great save

Greased up Adama about to come on.

Still not sure how that's allowed.
Next thing you know they'll let players wear padded armour on their shins to prevent injury.

Talk at St Etienne was that Saliba was better prospect yet he's hardly even making the bench for Arsenal despite signing for them 18 months back for 20 odd million.

Maybe you're right. In future I will refuse to praise any keeper who makes a point blank save from a goalbound shot and just say it was dumb luck as he guessed where he was supposed to be and the ball hit him.

Maybe strikers are lucky too - they simply guess where the keeper isn't going to be when they kick the ball and by the mere absence of the keeper being there it's a goal.

Considering you can't analyze and explain why a penalty save is a great save, i suppose you should avoid quite a lot of things related to football.

Wow, that Liverpool line up.

Gotta give props to Klopp. He does not give a shit about the opposition, zero fecks given. Simply just puts his strongest XI out there. None of this adapting his game to the opposition bullshit, the opposition have to adapt to him.

It will either end up a City massacre or he could be destroyed in a blaze of glory.

At first glance you'd have to say City have the stronger line up and should win but you never know in this fixture. Liverpool look like they're playing a 4-2-3-1, their team just looks so empty defensively without van Dijk.

Wolves finally got going, feels like 1-1 is imminent.
