Why would Flacco want Lawrence?
Just saw that the Dolphins have the 4th highest points differential in the league, after the Chiefs, Ravens and Steelers. They're building a real nice team over there, and Flores has installed a fighting mentality throughout the franchise imo.
Tonight should be a good one, and will go a long way to determine who'll win the division.

Flacco doesn't call the plays.
He is not going to throw the ball looking to lose. I don't believe teams tank. Players are playing for their jobs and bonuses not to let someone out of college take their jobs.
Similarly no Coach will tell his players to lose while telling to win at all costs when the season starts
Maybe the play caller thought a home run shot would kill the game. Perhaps Flacco liked the look he saw or mis-read the free safety.
