Bissaka though. Good tackler, poor defender and footballer. I just don't know what you guys see in him.

We’ve been out worked in the first half again. There is never an excuse for being out worked by the opposition

Martial is really poor, he keep trying turn his player but ended losing the ball. Pogba is not a deeply lying midfielder, Ole please get your head around this!!!!! He needs to be further up the pitch to influence player. Wake up Ole!!!

I don't know why Paul Liability started this game.
Well it will be obvious to him that he is secondary as far as our midfield is concerned. He wouldn't start in what Ole considers is the important game against Leipzig. So he has just downed tools in his head. He wants out. But who in the right mind would take this preening lackadaisical poisonous prima donna.

Bicycle kick to clear the ball from inside his own box. He's either incredibly stupid or doing it on purpose.

That was disgraceful performance. Pogba & Scott played the ball too slow, even when we won the ball back, we didn’t try to do quick counter. Martial lost the ball like 6-7 times in that first half probably and he’s so unpredictable. Cavani did nothing. Why do we need to play Rashford & Bruno in this game??
Who should Pogba and Scott deliver the ball?
Vdb hasn't touched the ball 3 times? Scott and Pogba were ok.
Vdb, Telles, Martial were criminal. Mason is in outer space, totally useless. Cavani might as well be in another stadium. I doubt he will receive a single useful ball if something doesn't change drastically.

Its strange having VdB as the 10 and Pogba deep. VdB has honestly looked half the player up there compared to when he's deeper, and Pogba is half the player deeper compared to as the 10. Stop forcing Pogba as a double pivot. It doesn't work. It never will. He doesn't know how to play the position.
Think he just sees him as a big lad and will add physicality back there, when he just doesn't.

Every time we are within touching distance of a decent league position something like this happens.

    So sick of it

Somewhere in an alternate reality, Ole has actually enforced into the team that starting games so poorly and ceding all of the initiative in the middle is a recipe for disaster.

On another note, I thought we had seen the last of Pogba in that deep role. It's like watching a highlight reel of his bloopers out there.

Out of all the poor players on the pitch, can we stop with the agendas, given there is worse at the moment. He's going to lose the ball, he's not a fecking DM as he seems to keep being shoehorned into.
What annoys me the most about Pogba is he just seems to make silly decisions constantly. Other players mess things up trying to do the right thing, he messes up while trying to do the wrong thing. Why is he doing overheads in our box? Why is he trying to run around that player in the middle instead of playing the pass forward to the open player on his right?

    There's only one United!
    Haven't you read the forum?

We need: New CEO. New board. New players (minimum £400m). New stadium. Fans back in stadium to pull the ball into the back of the net.
Manager's okay though, he can stay.

    Shocking first half.

Henderson - 6 - Positioning been suspect at times, good at times, maybe a better command of his area for the corner? Not to blame for goal
AWB - 6 - Played WHU onside atleast twice, work rate was poor from 25-30, made an excellent recovery tackle
Lindelof - 6 - Composed enough on the ball, most of the traffic coming other side
Maguire - 6 - A couple of decent passes, but leadership seems to be lacking today
Telles - 5 - Being torn apart by Bowing, set piece delivery poor, at blame for goal.
McTominay - 6 - Atleast looks like he's trying, bad foul on him. Passing seems to have regressed 12 months in the last 3 matches.
Pogba - 6 - Looks like he's th emost liekly to spark something, his languid looking running can be frustrating, but he is covering the ground.
    VDB - 6 - Quiet, tidy, meh.
    Greenwood - Quiet, tidy, meh
    Martial - Quiet, lazy, meh
    Cavini - 6 - no seervice

I can't believe we continuously persist with zonal marking after consistently conceding from it. Managers must be rubbing their hands together on every set piece... we've been done from that area many times now this season.

Exactly at this point people just hate the guy there's absolutely no logic. Not saying much but he's easily been the only functioning midfielder.
Agreed. It's become a massive hate-fest and it's really pathetic to see. I am honestly starting to hate Manchester United fans because our behavior is becoming what we looked down upon.

Pogba not playing well almost seems to make people giddy so that they can complain about him.

Meanwhile, Van De Beek who, as a midfielder, has been invisible, goes unnoticed, Telles costing us a goal is going less noticed.

No, all Pogba. Yeah, but he hasn't costed us a goal, and actually, is so far the only player trying to constantly progress the ball.

He's below average at everything except tackling, which isn't nearly enough for a modern fullback.

I don't care abt results. Genuinely. Just play football for God's sake.
I genuinely think the fans would be a lot more forgiving if the quality of football was higher, if the football was more attacking and if we looked more comfortable on the ball. At least it then gives the fans something to cling onto. At the moment, the quality is just not there. I can't honestly look at our first half performance and put the blame on one single individual, because there were so many bad performances out there that you can't blame only one without blaming many of the others, too.

You don't get the sense that these guys are enjoying the football, and that's probably because they're not. No top side wants to be trailing 1-0 to West Ham at half time. It's the sort of game that you need to win, week in week out if you want to achieve something. I really question the mentality of our squad. From a fan's perspective, we just look exceptionally weak.

Paul Liability and McT should not be allowed 2nd half on the pitch. Bring in Bruno and Fred.

Blown away that you'd give anyone in your team a 6. Unless it's out of 20?

So sick of everyone getting one over us, oh look Moyes is back and he will get one over us, the Leipzig manager with the stupid jacket we all laughed at, will get the last laugh.

It’s a typical rubbish post European night performance, were so pathetic try passing and moving?

If criticising Pogba is your main complaint in this half, you're 100% an agenda poster.

This horrible half has been down to playing like statues, painfully slow passing and an absolutely terrible formation.

Who is on the left? Telles has played alone all half and been shite might I add. Martial should be on the left wing but him and Cavani seem to be playing in the second striker position along with the invisible VDB.

Best thing is it's only 1-0.

Out of all the players I think he's the second worst after McTominay. So static it's an absolute joke. Zero movement, I don't see him really bothering to work channels, he's never on his toes. There was a good moment where he got a decent shot off but that's it.

What are these players doing all week in training?!

This is literally their full time job. How can you be so consistently bad?
