My PC is in a different room and so is the monitor. I prefer sitting on my couch in front of my TV.Why not play it on PC with a controller? that way you've got the best of both worlds.
Anyway, I guess the ps4 version is shite then?

Yeah, as someone else said, play it on PC with a controller. My PC can run it easily, so performance wise it would be a no brainer. I just dont like playing anything other than strategy or 4k games on PC.
Im getting a ps5 once someone starts selling them again
I'm the opposite of a PC master race person though. I want to sit on my couch in front of my giant tv. Not at my desk.Yeah, as someone else said, play it on PC with a controller.
@SilentWitness don't get too discouraged. The game is still plenty of fun even on a shit base PS4. The performance isn't great outdoors but the ugliness of the graphics is overstated.
The random crashes are bad.
Urgh yeh then maybe not. They get scanned in first thing when they arrive at the office to say its being put out for delivery. ShameDon’t think it’s at my local one yet, as I clicked on track parcel the last update was 6am saying it was at Swindon MC which is 44 miles away.
HDMI cable into your TV and something big sat in your living room for a month should sort thatI'm the opposite of a PC master race person though. I want to sit on my couch in front of my giant tv. Not at my desk.
Yeah I should sort that out. I need a rather long cable though (me bragging I own a large house).HDMI cable into your TV and something big sat in your living room for a month should sort that
Buy an Nvidia Shield and use Game Stream. It's limited to 4k 60fps, but that's what you'd get with a PS5 anyway.Yeah I should sort that out. I need a rather long cable though (me bragging I own a large house).
Might be a dumb question, but it says it works for Geforce GTX. I have RTX, does it still work then?Buy an Nvidia Shield and use Game Stream. It's limited to 4k 60fps, but that's what you'd get with a PS5 anyway.

No getting a PS5 for a while, and I have zero interest in getting a gaming PC. It’ll do for now.I have no idea why you'd even try to play it on PS4/Xbox One.
Probably. But I'd email your card manufacturer to know for sure.Might be a dumb question, but it says it works for Geforce GTX. I have RTX, does it still work then?
Yeah it's supported. Might do that then, thanks.Probably. But I'd email your card manufacturer to know for sure.
Or maybe your card manufacturer already says it on their website. Palit actually mention it directly on the specification pages of their cards:
What’s your GPU? Minimum cpu is just an i5 3570k, your 3 generation newer should be just fine. You’ll most likely have much better performance than a PS4/XBonefeckin' hell, the PS4 version keeps forgetting my settings. That is a pisstake, I have to say. That has nothing to do with old hardware. Having to invert the fecking Y axis over and over again is a pain.
Unfortunately, my PC can't handle it much better. Not unexpected of course - but still I can almost hear the i5-6400 groaning with the effort.
I dunno, maybe cause it was released for themI have no idea why you'd even try to play it on PS4/Xbox One.
It's a GTX 970. It runs OK on low to medium settings but the framerate is similar to the PS4 version. Looks better but not by that much, at least not to my unsophisticated eye. What’s your GPU? I won't have nearly a month of Christmas break in two months' time so tough luck, CDPR. I'm going to play your fecking game whether you like it or not.
(they probably don't care all that much about me, do they?)
Yeah, it’s cool and all, but looks like it’ll boring after one attempt.I despise the Braindance Editor.

My PS5 is set to arrive in a couple of days though.
Same issue here. I've just turned sensitivity way down because otherwise I could barely shoot my way out of the intro/training stuff. Also: can't really find the perfect settings for my controller. If I turn down the sensitivity it feels awful slow moving the camera around, if I up it - then the shooting it terrible.
Go into Advanced and turn all those things way off. Turn inner dead zone to 0, zoom sensitivity reduction to 2. Then fine tune your sensitivity.Same issue here. I've just turned sensitivity way down because otherwise I could barely shoot my way out of the intro/training stuff.
This indicates you have no idea about a lot of thingsI have no idea why you'd even try to play it on PS4/Xbox One.

Clearly I need to work on spotting sarcasm, apologies.Clearly I need to work on my sarcasm.
No, push higher resolutions even if super sampling. I'm on a 144hz 1080p monitor, and I'm pushing above 1440p and it kicks the DLSS in much better. Also the shadows are pretty shite in this no matter the settings, so try turning all those settings down (and the RTX setting for it off completely) and see if that helps. The FPS really jumps around. I thought I was able to consistently get 60fps on my rtx 2080 with medium RT. Then for some reason on non-crowded areas it’s sunk to around 45.
I might just give up on RT and go for 1080p in ultra settings.
It's both, really. They are of a similar standard (in fact the GPU is slightly bottlenecked by the CPU)Yeah it's not the CPU, it's that card.
No way that GPU is bottlenecked from the CPU. Where are you getting that from? It's both, really. They are of a similar standard (in fact the GPU is slightly bottlenecked by the CPU)
