Umm..before the kickoff can someone please remind the players to start playing from the 1st minute and not after we are down a goal? Thanks, and happy holidays!

Don't think this is as simple as "we always do well in difficult games and when under scrutiny so we will turn up in this game". City like us are trying to find consistency. They won't take it lightly

Not a hope in hell of winning this if we do our normal, let's pass it around a bit for a few minutes without actually going anywhere, then realise (far to late) that we don't have any tempo. Meanwhile, Ole sits in his seat and does bugger all other than preparing his after-game presser where he tells us we are improving and that he's very proud. And backing DDG who looks about as interested in playing as Pogba does

just noticed - and I think this might be a first - huge majority of those predicting result think we are going to lose. Have to say I agree with them

We will win comfortably tomorrow and the Outers can cry into their cornflakes for another week.
Are you gonna apologize and admit that you are the deluded one and ask for a relevant tagline if they beat us tomorrow? Be a man, answer before the game kicks off. Calling people names is easy, lead by example.

How the hell is Martial fit, the bloke looked like he could barely walk when he left the field last weekend. I’ll take it, though.
Could say the same of De Gea after Southampton.

Either players are being rushed back too soon or they need to grow a pair.

    Hendo

    AWB Lindelof Maguire Telles

    McT Fred

    Greenwood Bruno Rashford

    Martial

If Ole tries pulling off 5 at the back again I'll be launching the TV off the balcony.

    At least everyone is available.
As crap as we perceive ourselevs to be at the moment - if we could get a win here we'll really be the leaders. Which is bonkers.

Probably just a muscle tightened up.

I put my back out the other week and could barely walk without being hunched over :)
Week later - pretty much fully mobile again.

Now I know top level prem footy is a lot different to some random nobber like me running solo - but they have the supreme medical supportr us chumps don't.

Or can we just do the half time team talk and second half subs to start with? maybe we'll play a full 90 mins!! Brilliant!

If we go with an attacking team we will get well beaten. I think he has to keep it tight for a while. Finding the balance is the key.
Yeees! Been trying to find the right balance for 2 years now

If we attack them the way most posters want to see they will beat us easily. If we keep it tight we can still score a couple and win the game. I know which I would prefer
I’d go the Jose tactic of keeping it tight and organised. Hit on the counter.

They like to have possession and playing too open suits them

I mean, bar their 5-0 v Burnley they've been phenomenally ordinary this season.

That said, I fully expect them to kick on in this and join those at the top of the table.
Their form is deceptive - their defence is the best in the league when you look at xGA & they top the tables for xG in away games. I put some money on them when they had their bad start and odds were pretty good for them winning the league but signs are ominous that they're getting back to their best, especially if Aguero is fit. That said, they are one team that 5 at the back has historically worked well against so you never know with this United team. My fear is we'll play like we did at WHUM first half and they'll run away with the game.

It's a hard nut to crack. The problem is that they are very good with possession. They will create a lot of chances with the ball and something will go in.

    So why the childish criticism?
    Childish?

He comes out with the same shit after every match. Its his lip service thats childish.
I'd prefer if he was prepared to slaughter a collective performance and tell us its not good enough.

if we’d got a proper dm to sit in beside Fred for games like this I’d be a lot more optimistic. Matic is way too slow to play on the counter or soak up pressure. He’s wrecking my head the last few years. I know he was good for a few months last year but his limitations were still there for all to see

Shame as he’s technically superior to Fred and McT but doesn’t have the legs anymore. We really need a world class player to free up the creative CMs

    Just over £100 profit
    That's not enough.
There is a very good chance that we'll beat MCFC, in fact, I would say we are favourites.
We may suck tomorrow, but Ole's luck will see us somehow get a goal that shouldn't be.

I'm not sure if Ole practises witchcraft or has sold his soul to the devil.
Against RBL, we were awarded a penalty which was not a penalty and then we scored a goal which was clearly handball. We were gifted 2 free goals and I see something like that happening again tomorrow.

It has happened many times before. And every time we are predicted to lose, by the majority, we win.

Dreading this. My enjoyment has been totally sapped from football at the moment. Totally disillusioned at the moment with the beautiful game.

Now in fairness, someone else did that and got heavily criticised for throwing players under the bus.

I'd take that if it meant we won the title next season too.
