Can we stop with this nonsense. So many parrots on this forum, just because one person said cowardly you all want to jump on using the same word.

After the issues mid week if we go gung-ho in this game and get thumped three nil then where would that leave us? We are playing arguably the best team in the premier league for the last decade under arguably the best manager in the world at this moment in time and you lot expect us to play champagne football (which is how we nearly got the penalty btw) and romp to an easy win.

Times like this that you need to have a good hard think about why some other fan bases think our fan base is spoilt and entitled...
This. Our fan base is a laugh tbh. Or at least the Caf.

So people are throwing their toys out over a draw with City now.
Ole hasn't shown enough to get me or others on side. These kind of perfromances at home are not acceptable and do not show that we are going in the right direction. He has taken the club as far as he can and he should be removed to allow someone else to progress this side.

I wouldn't sack him just for this result and the way we played today. That said he should be replaced for the overall incompetency.

He could relegate us and you wouldn't give over. Yet another dreadful performance but you'd rather ignore the obvious to defend your man.
And you won't admit he does anything right when we win matches. Have you given any compliments the 4 league matches before this or have you complained about everything as per usual?

So this is what it has come to. Holding on for our dear lives at old trafford in the manchester derby. Remember how Moyes couldn't hide the fact that he was an Everton manager? Same way Ole will always be Molde level at heart. Would probably set up the same way with prime bacerlona
That didn't happen.

EDIT:

Out of posts @Rado_N:
Is their team worse than ours though? It is widely agreed that their manager is better so why do we expect to thrash them?

Look if people want Ole out then this display is certainly not going to convince them otherwise and that's fine, they might well be right! However, the number of posters spouting nonsense to try and push their agenda is laughable. I'm sure RAWK are enjoying it...

Since I have no more posts I will just say this. It hasn't been a great game... it isn't where we wan to be especially at home, but lately we have been getting thumped in the first half by every team we play and cannot buy a win at home so if we want to talk about considering teams in the moment, where is all this expectation coming from?

If you want Ole out tonight probably backs you up, but it was a tough game and on paper and on the pitch City have beaten us enough times without being at their best for us to know that well and you would think approach the game with some trepidation especially on current form!
Swathes of the Cafe would have been buzzing if we got thumped. One step closer to having their guy in.

0 standards. Holy feck. What on earth happened to our fans? We played for a draw and you're ok with it? feck me, man.

Its not the draw for most of us. Its the fact that we can see we're wasting our time.

0-0 is decent but frustrating. Wouldn't give him any credit for it though as we didn't even try to win in the second half as we where too afraid of losing.

Not good enough onsidering we have just been knocked out of the CL.

He needs to do much better. Maybe try get off his seat too.

In fairness Pep didn't try win either but they are still in the CL so a draw is much more acceptable

At least Mourinho might do the same vs Liverpool and make it easier to catch up.
Not really expecting us to do much though.

It was like watching a little club play against a big club and the little club did well to repel the bigger club.

Why am I not surprised there're still few defending our cowardly approach today against one of the most beatable City sides for years ?

Some here are planning to defend Ole before even the match starts.

No stress about going out from CL. Needed not to lose for sake of confidence. Good job, although I would have made 2 more subs.

Are you saying that 0-0 v Manchester City is a sackabe offense?
That is the entire problem though. Ole knew a draw will give him some breathing space and that is what we went for. City were abysmal, we should have been more positive at home.

It’s too reductionist to simply say “it’s City, a draw is good”. I assume you watched the game as well, there was a missed opportunity to go for it in the second half against a rather timid looking City. If we had played on the front foot and still seen a draw, it’d be more acceptable. But it was all very safety first, passive and a lack of commitment up front.

as I said earlier, Mourinho got crucified for these types of performances. It’s a total myth that Ole is an attacking manager... changes players & tactics from game to game, and always makes sure the counter is first port-of-call.

He is the worst thing happening to the club. Complete and utter stagnation. A slow and painful death. The team is too good for him to completely bottle it, he is too nice to cause havoc. Arsenalification complete, without the Fa cups. No titles and 3rd to 6th places hooray. Just need to wait now until we dont reach CL for him to get sacked. Might happen this season or not, but we are hopeless and going nowhere with shit and boring football to boot.

Playing defensive, on draw and without any desire to attack in all big games this year. At OT.
He is talking all those bullshit about United DNA and then he goes with small time manager stuff.
Pathetic manager. Absolutely pathetic. It is not even about results anymore. Or our bad general play. This approach to big games is shameful.
How any of you can want him to stay after last two games? How? Against Leipzig he went with 7 defenders. Against City he didn't even try to score a goal.

6 more months of this....kill me now

That draw today wasn't such a bad result all in all if you take it out of context. But that doesn't mean Ole is still the right man to lead us out of this dark place with that pathetic performance against a very beatable City side.

You don't think the setup was negative for a home side? Was waiting for us to push up but we were married to waiting for counter opportunities. The deep counter hasn't worked for us this season against the top 6, they've adjusted and the ball is now in our court to evolve

I don't see much right at all other than relying on luck and other factors. We simply do not decide our fate. Yes, we can have moments of incredible attacking football but the fact that those moments are so limited makes me think they're not intended.

I'd rather we sack Ole and get someone new in but some of you are deranged. We were better than City for the most part and got a draw.

Can understand the anger after Leipzig but this is not the game for you to get all upset about.

Our first sub came in around 75 minutes. You're kidding yourself if you think Ole wasn't satisfied with such result and cowardly, negative approach.

He's the Norwegian Moyes. No ambition, only interested in the preservation of his job and his rapidly dwindling reputation (not that it was high to start with).

He'll come out in the post-match interview pleased that we've managed to get a point off City at home like we're some kind of plucky underdogs lucky to be on the same pitch as John Stones and Kyle Walker.

Talk about irony and zero self-awareness. Parroting some top red's bullshit and yet accuses people who are actually living in the real world and are not delusional of groupthink.

No, but show some ambition , have some balls, show some courage , attack them . We are the fecking home team ! Feck it, make 2 more subs and go for it.

For the record, this is what Jose did against Sevilla as well.
