Ignore the City game for a moment.

We've been playing this dire way of trying not to lose rather than playing for the win for a while now.
Well, unless we're behind after 65 minutes.
This is not the first game we've played this way.

All that attacking talent and yet we're being passive and uninspired.
Horrible football.

Van Gaal and Mourinho would be proud.

I think what is worse than Ole is his fanboys, they are Scousers in disguise, if not, they have much in common, both is praying day and night for Ole to stay in charge.

No, but show some ambition , have some balls, show some courage , attack them . We are the fecking home team ! Feck it, make 2 more subs and go for it.

For the record, this is what Jose did against Sevilla as well.
If we're to mount a title challenge we have to evolve from the deep counter attacking strategy in these games because the entire top 6 seem to have adjusted to it thus far

We're winning nothing under Ole. He's a legend at the club but as a manager he has to go. Appalling.

Mourinho is top of the table with that kind of football so of course he is proud.

The fact he was looking to bring on Matic for Fred when he was injured tells you everything you need to know about Ole.

He's more terrified of losing than he is taking a risk and going for the 3 points.

Utterly cowardly from him yet again. I'm sick of the camera panning to him and him having that stupid vacant clueless look on his face. May as well have Lumsden and Round back on the sidelines.

It’s a shame Ole has turned out to be another negative and passive manager, like all the others post SAF. Next few games will determine if that is a decent point or not, but that was weakest City eleven in a long time and their passing, movement and pressing was non existent and we somehow still played for a point.

A manager that doesn't play for a win is not a suitable manager for any top club.

We are in purgatory. You guys don't know it yet.
Have to agree with this. I've already come to terms that Ole will be going sooner rather than later, so it's a case of passing the time until the next one comes in. Whether that's next week, next month or the end of the season, it's going to happen.

From the first minute, he was not interested in the result for the sake of the club, he was playing from the first minute not to lose to avoid more sack pressure. He is a coward and a fraud who is making a living out of our idiots of a board.

This is probably the 12th game this season I've watched us and wondered if Ole is Mourinho in a disguise.

I'd take the draw we played for a draw as it was the safer option and we have some easy games coming up to rack up points. Come beginning of January I expect us to be in top 4 unless every team currently in it wins all their games

It would be ok if we tried to win and weren't just knocked out of the CL.

Can't be considered a good result in that context. It just is what it is. Meh.
‘Meh’ sums it up pretty well. It’s unfortunate that we settled for the draw, but at the end of the day we got a point against a team which are, let’s be fair, much better than us. Not many positives to take, not many negatives either. It was a crap game.

It's the board's fault because they didn't sign Grealish and Sancho.

Don't they know that managers can only perform well when they get their dream signings in every single position?
Isn't not being backed proof that Poch finishing third in a two horse title race and bottling a Champions League wasn't his fault?

If we're ditching that bollocks now, it'll make these threads a little bit better.

You wanted him to take off a DM in the 14th minute of the game and replace him with an attacking option?
What a loss to Premier League management you are.

You'll think that after the CL embarrassment he would be eager to apologize to fans by putting on a great match tonight, but this what we get.

Anyway who gives a shite ? Best we'll achieve under him is a top 4 and some minor cups. Give him 10 years and we'll be producing the same every season.

I give up expecting more from us as long as he's in charge.

I'd rather we sack Ole and get someone new in but some of you are deranged. We were better than City for the most part and got a draw.

Can understand the anger after Leipzig but this is not the game for you to get all upset about.
There are very few games in isolation to be upset about. But the situation overall is a different matter.

I don't think they're Scousers in disguise, they just reflect the state the club is in: overly obsessed with sentimentality and being 'different'. They'd rather stubbornly support a manager directing the Titanic towards the iceberg so people don't think we're like other clubs rather than pull their fingers out of their ears and wake up to reality. They're still living in the 90's/ 00's, where we're this prestigious, all conquering European powerhouse where no one dare question the manager.

If you are having a meltdown over a draw vs City then you have an agenda. Simple as that

We had a rough fecking week and if we had thrown the sink at them and got twatted 0-3 would that have been preferable?

Yeah it was a fairly boring affair where both teams were off the boil in attack and very good in defense and neither team wanted to commit too many men forward

Negative, passive and reactive. Sums us up week in, week out.

My question would be, what are we aiming for under Ole? As far as I can see, there is no intent from us to push on and bridge the gap.

If they get to wank about the idea of Poch coming in, absolutely. Make it 0-5, five is a nicer number.

Ole game management continues to be awful when he needs to be proactive than reactive. It's no coincidence that United longest winning run occurred when we get behind first. He's too scared to make a mistake when the game is in a balance. A risk averse manager will not win us anything.

Even Gary Neville said Jose would have gotten slated if he played like this. The amount of things fans let slide for Ole is amazing

Or hear me out, we throw a sink at them and twatted them 3-0. Would you like that?

Your standard are incredibly low.
I do think that fans have had to readjust their expectations, because we're not in the position where we have been winning titles in the last load of seasons. So, we have had to re-evaluate that. However, I agree in the sense that we're allowing ourselves as a club to sink lower and lower. Where's the ambition, the fight, and the spirit? There doesn't seem to be a drive to be better than we currently are, which is what every "big" team should be displaying.
