He's an enigma and has a lot of haters, imo he's been a bit unlucky with injuries, covid etc over the last 2 seasons and constantly being played as a DM by Jose and Ole despite being terrible defensively. That said I understand why fans want him sold, but there's no denying talent wise he's a step above the likes of VDB, Mata, Lingard etc - if we were to play him as an AM I'd much rather we keep him instead of those two. Yes he blows hot and cold and it's massively frustrating but at the least you know he's capable of magic and has shown it with us (though sporadically) with us in his 4 years, whereas the likes of VDB, Mata just don't have that level of talent to begin with. It's a shame it hasn't worked out better with him because weve all seen the flashes of his brilliance (e.g. the 2 goals against City, Rashford's assist against Spurs). If we don't get an offer close to £60m I'd much rather just keep him and play him as a sub because if the going rate for players like VDB is £40m then we're not going to get much better in

Weird post by Pogba - he talks about "bla bla" but these are quotes that are taken straight from his agent. What an odd statement.

Sick to the back teeth of him. So much so that if I'd won that massive lottery jackpot I'd pay utd 60 million to tear up his contract.

In the same sentence talks about ‘future is far’. Ffs do players not understand that everyone knows what that means by now? Ronaldo made it clear in 08

That's rich, telling people not to speculate when his agent keeps undermining and criticising the club, on his behalf. feckwit.

Anyhow, it was a 6.0 performance today. Worked a bit more defensively, held the ball well generally, but was - among many - largely anonymous. Should have squared to Greenwood for our only great chance.

If Ole keeps deploying him wide left, I'd like him to be used as a target man instead of this slow and laborious playing out from the back.

Could be that we have refused to give him contract and agreed to sell him. Still doesn't excuse Mino from saying what he did. There was no need if we had gentleman agreement but shit bags like Mino doesn't care about those. Mostly I think he leaked it so that we cant break that agreement otherwise it won't look good

Played very well today in a more advanced role as most expected he would but he’s had his chances for me and still has to go.

Exactly all a bit odd. Hardly like it was some article from some journo claiming to have close sources.

If anything maybe it indicates he wasn't so keen on Mino coming out with such strong quotes?

But that doesn't take away criticism from him (if the bold bit is true). He's criticised for either A) being a dick and forcing a move on the eve of a big game or B) failing to put a muzzle on his agent.

Both deserve a lot of criticism and it's not misled.

Anyway, what he posted obviously doesn't make and indication about his commitment for United long term. He's saying what matters is present and won't talk about the future. Him saying all is clear between him and the club makes me think we agreed to already let him go as long as he doesn't sulk this season.

Very weird post from Pogba, tell your agent to stfu. He’s lucky there is no fans in the stadium right now.

Totally agree. The only bla bla is generate by his side.

If today was him playing in the shop window, we won't get more than 50m for him!

Caption basically saying he will give his all while he's here. I think it's also clear he wants to go given no rebuttal of Mino.
He might have better to remain silent himself. The time to speak out and against his agent was before the RB leipzig games not many days afterwards.

Dispossessed nine times today. And that’s in a game where he put in an above average performance overall. He’s such an enigma of a footballer. I’m sure the team will improve when another manager, at another club, has to work out how the feck to build a team around such a flakey player.

I think ole had it figured out when he first came, and was rewarded with double digit goals and assists in half a season, which is why the change of system with Pogba going deep to accommodate lingard the next season never made sense to me

Thought he was one of the better players in the pitch, had several nice passes forward and strong in midfield. Not as clean in possession has he can be on his best but should definitely start every game he can, regardless of what his agent says.

We're criticizing him for saying nonsense. He's telling people to not talk when they don't anything and all talks about his future is bla bla bla when literally the one who said all these are his agent, not journalists or fans.

So instead of this, he should have just went and told his agent to shut up ?

Sell him, but while he´s here on a big pay check, he´d better earn that money and play. And play good.

As with everything Pogba the goalposts are constantly changing so fans always find something wrong with him.

Since he joined there’s been this unsubstantiated notion that he was destined to leave at some point whilst the truth is neither he nor the club have excelled during this period here so it’s likely just run it’s course.

He’s shown more in cameos this season than all other midfielders than Bruno but let’s be mad at his agent; you know the guy who represents Caf obsession Haaland.

Yeah it would not have made any difference what he said. He could have said i will never leave this club until the day i die and the same people who were crying out for him to commit would say he is lying.

There were like a dozen threads opened on him last week all crying for him to say something and now he has.

Truth is we know all those people couldn't care what he said they just want to hate on him

He’s not talking about his agent speaking up. He’s supporting his agent in the story that bild have written, suggesting that pogba was considering releasing the agent if he doesn’t secure him a move away from the club.

Not sure why United’s press team are pushing it as if it’s some statement of commitment to us.

He said nothing, literally. He only said what matters is present, the future is far, and everything is clear between him and the club. This doesn't commit him to the club at all. There's no single word in the Instagram post that indicates he's going to stay or leave. He's just saying he's focusing on the present or won't talk about the future. Please read it again.

That's from this perspective.

But the ridiculous notion is him labelling talking about him leaving as bla bla bla when this literally came from his own agent. Neither journalist nor fans invented it, it's his agent who came and talked about him leaving and that his career here is over.

I just want to mention that control and spin at the 43rd minute. Incredible. The pass to Bruno early on was sublime as well. Actually he looked good many times today. When he gets the ball and can just power through midfield it makes you think what a good player he could be if he could do this stuff constantly.

You got any stats on Bruno being dispossessed today or turning over possession? Perhaps it’s not surprising against tea,s like city that players get dispossessed ore often. Perhaps all our players are similar today?

Long may he continue putting in these decent performances
This won't happen. Sorry to be a debbie downer after a decent performance, but he's done this multiple times now. It's always short lived. Might be a bit longer now if he has to wait til the end of the season to leave.

Thought he was professional in his display today. Ship him out in Jan for some cash. Sir Alex was so right in not paying what he wanted before he pouted his way off to Juve long ago.
