Disappointing result but we played well overall and created enough to win it.

Both goals were bad to give away but their equaliser was very lucky. Vardy's mis-kick going wide deflected in off Tuanzebe.

Rashford was awful, and I'd say his finishing cost us the game more so than bad defending.

The Lindelof injury stopped us from throwing on someone who could have helped change the game.

Despite it feeling like dropped points, i'm glad to be sat here thinking that because 6 weeks ago I'd have been worried about facing Leicester.
This is the reality.

Bailly was a disgrace. But we had the chances to make his feck ups irrelevant.

It's great that we don't fear anyone now and as fans we are expecting the team to win every single game again. That's not been the case since 2013.

Frustration but clearly this team is going in the right direction, fast.

This makes me sick. That second goal - wtf! Three mistakes on that play alone. Maybe we eventually become solid.

Two players in area of Vardy and no one close enough to him to stop the shot but close enough to deflect it into the goal! It would have gone wide.

Games like this have to be won!!!

And yeah... Once they scored we didn't show winning mentality . Back in a day under SAF you know we would have attacked like wasps to get something but instead we almost lost.

Frustrating, feels like a real missed opportunity. You always have to allow for a Vardy goal, and often a late one, so it's down to Rashford's missed chances really.

Can't fathom Martial, so moody from game to game.

James isn't as bad as some people are saying, but he's far too predictable and too much of a one-trick pony.

Would like to know the reasoning behind the right-back selection, and where is Williams - wonder why he's not even on the bench if AWB is unavailable?

fair result. When our defense is as leaky as this game then a draw is not a bad result.

Actually I thought our performance was good no? We created enough clear cut chances and they really didn't create anything did they?
See that's the issue. Two three chances from moments here and there and our fans are satisfied. Our passing was wank today. Our possession play was terrible. If we merely focus on these things alone we will get nowhere. It's time to focus on excellence. Good finishing and bad finishing will come and go. The quality of the collective is what matters imo

Yeah, I'm beginning to write Daniel James off as a punt that hasn't worked.
He'll most likely be out the time with Diallo comes and reinforcements come in the summer.

The good thing with United is the squad is now looking to be very good.

Starting to lean towards getting Pogba out I was an advocate of his for so long but he's just sluggish/sloppy all the time these days.

Should’ve won. No real disaster and we continue to be at least entertaining but the seemingly wilful decision to cede the momentum when we go in front in order to play for a counter attacking clincher is incredibly naive with this defence against actually decent teams.
Agree go ahead , 10mins and a bit left, just try to keep the ball, instead leave them have it. Still it was a deflected goal going wide but still shouldn't have left them get the ball into that area. 2 pts dropped

That’s your assessment after that match, I’d say it showed a glaring weakness in not having a finisher up front
Yes but we're conceededing way too many goals, we must be on course to conceed about 50 goals this season :wenger:

McTominay back to being his average self after the hype from the Leeds game. Far to slow to react to Barnes' shot and terrible pass selection at the end, passing it wide to Tuanzebe when a there was a simple pass on to Rashford in the middle. Not good enough to be starting games regularly if we have ambitions to get back to the top.

That was thrown away, we couldn't control the ball worth a damn most game but, had done enough to earn the win. Threw it away because we don't know how to control a game. Fred with the long ball when we could have just kept possession and made them chase us around. Then to leave Perez so Pogba sits there thumb up has ass pointing at Perez.

I know LC are a are good side but, just feel like we've thown away a golden opportunity to really stake our claim in the title race.

I think if PL had 5 subs, we would have won this. DDG would have been substituted at the half time. He certainly didn't seem to be 100% and I can see Henderson starting the next game. Very unfortunate with the injury to Lindelöf and I think Leicester had a slight advantage with getting more rest.

All things considered it's a tough one to digest but OK result never the less. Would have been over the moon with a win.

Very good performance muddied by poor finishing. We were the better team and we are getting better.

Not a bad result but disappointed considering we threw the lead away twice.

Another game showing how weak we look with Martial up front

but the seemingly wilful decision to cede the momentum when we go in fron
Not sure it's wilful. We saw at the start of the second half that we can't cope witg being pressed really hard.. Now, teams can't keep that up for 90 minutes, sure - but they can for 10-15 minutes and that was enough today.

And in any case, regardless of how a given match is going, we have an infuriating habit of giving the ball away cheaply. Not all of that is tactical.

Do people think that great strikers just convert every chance? People seem to think that there’s a player out there that would just score every chance we create. Plus Rashford was the one on the end of our best chances so do you want to replace him?

Our issue today was with a shit balance in midfield which never allowed us to control the game even when we created far more. Add that to our ever ropey defense and we ship another two goals from bad communication

I respect Rashford for what he's doing but he's seemed to have dropped off a bit since his campaigning. It's really difficult to balance both that and giving your all the football. I hope he continues with it but at the same time, we should absolutely drop him if his performance aren't up to scratch. Today, he missed two sitters.

Would have taken such a result if it had been offered a few weeks back but the fact that we missed a few good chances and basically gifted them two goals is a disappointment. However the fact that a draw away to this Leicester side is disappointing says a lot about how we have progressed as a team.

We would be idiots if we don't sign a CB this January. We look like we are ready to take off but we won't with such a defense.

I mean, it’s not a bad result. It’s just disappointing. I feel like if that’s Liverpool they win that game. City probably too. That’s the difference. We just don’t have that same cutting edge that they do. We’re improving but we’re just not quite there yet.

Didn't see the game but a point away to Leicester is not a bad result at all. Pretty obvious we're in a top 4 battle rather than a title challenge and that's a decent point gained against a competitor away from home.

We're not in a title race, and you can argue no one else is either. Its a top 4 race. Has and will always be this season.

Christ Leicester are painfully average, I don’t fancy them to challenge shit. And top 4 is completely over for them if Vardy is ever out, they form the entire team for him to score goals
They work hard in midfield and move the ball quickly. They don't create much but they don't need to (opposed to us) as they have Vardy up front.

We will win nothing with this defence. Ole must see what is holding the team back when we let in such daft goals. Worse is the number of defenders we have who cannot make simple passes even when going back to the keeper. Shambolic at times, mediocre or downright embarrassing at others.

2 points dropped. Disappointed and frustrated. These 2 points will probably end up being crucial in the end. I would never take a point before the game and we should have won.

Real shame. United were by far the better team. The only shot on target from Leicester I can remember was the first goal.

Really should have won that.

I gave D James 2. One for having his shirt tucked in his shorts. One for running fast.

Officially Tuanzebe OG. Rotten luck. Still, not the worst result. Gotta win the next 2 though...
