Christ these lot are good. The question now is who can stop Liverpool's dominance? Number 20 is already in the bag, any challengers for next year?
No, City seem to be going backwards and whomever Lampard's successor is will need at least a season before they can challenge, but even so as long as that cnut Klopp is there then it's hard to see them drop enough to let anyone else have a chance.

Belting the full song book out.
I can’t believe they ram them all in the kop instead of spreading them around the ground or that it’s even allowed.

Basically chosing creating atmosphere and possible advantage over stopping the spread of virus and potentially saving lives

It's infuriating, bad enough they are allowed fans when others aren't but they clearly aren't taking precautions, or taking it seriously at all.

33 minutes in, 85% possession. That's probably the most I've ever noticed.

A West Brom player breaks forward and no other WBA players join him and he is tracked by four Liverpool players.

Teams in PL are just giving too much respect to this Liverpool side. Just sitting back is not the answer. Leeds showed more and almost got a draw. This tactics by WBA is just shambolic.

Probably should have started with an additional forward here.

Not enough cutting edge so far. Our final ball has been terrible. Should be doing more with this much possession.

Must be frustrating being the lone West Brom striker - Karlan Grant just chasing down players and being asked to chase useless balls sent over the top.

Wait so Wolves are playing at 8pm, then just 2 days later are playing us? That's really unfair isn't it? Who the feck schedules these fixtures?

Think Bilic would have given Liverpool a game and lost it.

Just garbage in the final third. One shot on target with 85% possession is crap.

Tell you what, Big Sam would genuinely accept a 1-0 or 2-0 by the end of the game. It’s fine for one of the poorest teams in the league like WBA to come to Anfield, OT, KP, SB or Etihad with a defensive mentality, but it’s just wrong to set up with a 6-4-0 formation. Damage limitation from minute one.

That bottom three of Sheffield United, West Brom and Fulham looks about right, imo. They can't win games. Fulham look the ones more likely to stay up as they seem to have a bit more about them.

I know that West Bromwich are supposed to concentrate on defense. But oh my, is this the most anti-football I have ever experienced in my life. And ofcourse, Liverpool one shot on goal, one goal.

I would think that WBA have nothing to lose and that they would try to go for it in 2nd half but with big Sam, we never know. Surprise us Sam, surprise us!

I hope West Brom get relegated. Life is too short to spend any of it watching Big Sam anti-football.

Sick and tired of teams giving up before they even arrive at places like City and Pool. Just like Newcastle yesterday. WBA are worse, how can a manager set up his team to do that. Pathetic.

He’s just playing for the last fiver or ten minutes. Will be a perfect plan if they can get to that and then put some long ball pressure on right at the end.
there’s not much else they can do really is there, can’t go toe to toe and even if they tried just giving them a game they will get exposed.

I think this is the best way for West Brom at the moment, bottom of the table, second game for new manager and against the best team in the country, not sure what people expect

West Brom's gameplan is get to 88 minutes at 0-0 or 1-0 down and then maybe attempt to cross the halfway line.
I think he doesn't want to lose by a large score at all costs in order not to demotivate his players

They certainly deserve it - unfortunately there are too many teams who deserve it and not enough relegation places, given the number of teams fecking up the integrity of the competition by bending over for Liverpool and playing their cup final vs us

Not the fairest of schedules but its worth noting that Wolves have played 8 less games than United this season.

Liverpool 1-0 ahead at half time and had 1 shot on target. Consistently clinical they are the opposite of United.
 statistics aren’t your strong point I guess? Or perhaps an agenda?

They’ve had 10 off target which unsurprisingly have not gone in either. That’s not very clinical is it? 9% conversion rate.

Honestly watching any team managed by Sam Allardyce is a waste of time.

By the state of it, looks like Newcastle will replace Fulham in there at the end of the season.
They've got a slight cushion at the moment, but I can see them dropping further down the league as the season carries on. They aren't playing good football. Think they're one of the clubs that are benefitting from the lack of crowds because I could imagine Bruce getting tons of stick from them.

Wolves are 12th and are only two points ahead of Newcastle, but I think realistically everyone from Newcastle down (13th-20th) is in the fight. Think any of them will be lucky to stay up.

Stats aren't your strong point either. Most shots off target can't be goals unless OGs. Will be no surprise if Liverpools 2nd goal this evening comes from their 2nd shot on target.

If they're shooting off target they're not clinical, it's not rocket science to understand. Calling this performance from Liverpool clinical is utter waffle.

So if a player has an open goal and blasts it wide, it doesn’t count? He can still be considered clinical?
