Any chance they will lose the fans advantage? It's fecking ridiculous that one team in the league are allowed to have that.

Fecking hell, this result makes me even more annoyed that we couldn't hold on yesterday.

On paper we had the toughest fixture out of the challengers this round. Away from home facing a team in 2nd. With Liverpool dropping points makes dropping points against Leicester a bit bearable.

Except everyone is tripping over their laces repeatedly
Didnt say it was a great race!
We are there though. Liverpool keep dropping points v botton 3 sides when we draw our tough games v City and Leicester.
We are being set up for a crack at this.

Didn’t see that result coming. Thought when Mane put them 1-0 up, it was going to be a case of how many. Credit to West Brom for sticking in there and gaining a brilliant point.

Now makes our next two games before we play them huge must wins. Anything less than 6 points is going to be not good enough if we want to challenge them for the title.

We’ve put in some atrocious performances this season. Almost as bad as Fulham away that. New CB please otherwise we’ll struggle. Massive opportunity missed to gain a lead at the top. Just proves this race will go to the wire.
What was up with your attack today? In the second half it basically consisted of launching the ball into the box from weird angles, or (literally) running into WBA players.

They just tired?

Because we could’ve been two points closer?
Equally we could have been a point worse off.
Instead we could be two behind them once the game in hand comes into play with another tricky away game gone.

Liverpool are in tier 2 right now, but that's likely to increase to 3 or 4 before long given the way their fans were huddling together during the game.

Good or bad weekend to lose a game. Depends on how you're wired I suppose.

If we had won yesterday Liverpool may well have won this game 5-0, causality and such. So no point bemoaning the draw yesterday.

The other way to look at it is we just played away to the team in 2nd, Liverpool just played home against relegation fodder, and we haven't lost ground.

Big Sam got it spot on, no idea why he was getting a slagging in.
Because he doesn't play attractive football like Bielsa or isn't brave enough to suffer 5/6 goals per game like the right way to play football brigade likes...

Liverpool and Leicester even had 1 week rest whereas we played in the league cup against Everton on Wednesday and had the early kick off on Saturday.
Exactly.
How some are proclaiming we're doomed after watching Liverpool there is beyond me.

Thank feck they're not running away with the title with such results against the likes of Fulham and WBA.

I feel like they would have won these games last season. They used to score jammy goals or late pens in the dying minutes of every game last season when the result was 1-1 or 0-0. Thank feck they don't have the same luck this season.
Problem is they still did enough to beat Spurs and swatted aside Leicester. That'll give them huge belief.

Huh, after Wba scored i turned off Tv and i was afraid to check result. Anywhere. When i refreshed this page i expected to see posts like "ffs", "i knew it", "as usual"......
Anyway, Liverpool kids are awful. For years now. How the feck they manage to sell them for big fees.

Told y'all our draw against Leicester wasn't the worst result in the world. The Big Sam revival is on. This season is gonna be anything but straightforward. You couldn't find a better banker for 3 points than West Brom at Anfield, under the lights, with a home only crowd.

That Wolves/Spurs game...can't see many goals in that, for some reason. Might be a boring 0-0, which wouldn't be a terrible result for us.

WBA showed real bollocks in that 2nd half. That’s two teams in Fulham and WBA who have had a go at Pool and come away with a draw, and a solid argument that they could have had something more. Funny thing to say but if we follow this blueprint and Bruno is on fire on the day, I honestly think we will be the ones to end this ridiculous unbeaten home run that they have.
