So the following teams looking for a new HC:

Jags
Lions
Jets
Falcons
Chargers
Texans

Jags have an opportunity to draft Lawrence. Texans have Watson. Chargers Herbert.

Those 3 therefore have to be the most sought after you’d think. Lions need a lot of work. The Falcons too. The Jets .. unless you believe in Darnold, and the impact of Covid opt-outs, are not enticing, especially with where the Bills and Dolphins are trending.

In terms of teams who haven’t moved on from their coaches, it’s really just Denver and Dallas that stand out. Both Fangio and McCarthy have been so terrible that they should be gotten rid of. Could um and ah about Zimmer I guess, Peterson maybe. But that’s about it. I like Zimmer though and think they’re right to keep him. Pederson probably has another season in his bag as a result of the SB and injuries this year.
Of that list, I could see someone like Bieniemy being interested in working with Herbert.

I fear he won’t unless he takes a ‘hometown’ discount. There will be at least one major cap casualty.

Lynn is out for the Chargers. Seeing how good Herbert has been, that might change everything in the coaching carousel.
If it weren't for our ownership, Chargers would be one the most attractive spots for a head coaching candidate. Jags and Houston have to be up there too for the no state income tax and chance to work with Lawrence and Watson respectively.

Dolphins sacked Gailey. That hire looked just as crazy a year ago as it does today.

His playcalling drove me nuts.

Elway out as GM in Denver, hadn't heard many rumours about that.

Apparently he has been 'elevated' to a role in the wider organisation

Fangio will be involved in the process of hiring a new GM? What the living feck is going on in this “organisation”?

It’s the right call. It would be nice if everyone could “fire” themselves & end up with a promotion.

Just heard Mortensen say live on a SC special that Gailey would be stepping down to spend more time with his grandchildren.

Joe judge crying about the Eagles effort after his 6-10 team missed out on the playoffs is so funny

Whats everyones predictions then?

Cleveland - Steelers - Meet again just one week later. Think Steelers will win this time around.

Colts - Bills - Josh Allen in great form. Bills will do it.

Ravens - Titans - Tricky one. Ravens lost to them earlier on in the season but I think they are back in form just in time. Ravens.

Rams - Seahawks - Depends which Rams turn up right? I'll go with Seattle though.

Bears - Saints - Saints have too much power. Easy win.

Tampa - Washington - Tampa easily.

Agree with all your picks except for Ravens winning. Close game, but I think the Titans pull it off.

Same for me too. Titans over Ravens for me.

The bills were the only team to really take us apart this year. Twice. Scary team and well coached, they could go all the way

Personally, I think they’re the biggest threat to KC. Strong defensively & Allen’s been very good all year.

I think the Browns will beat the Steelers and I’m surprised at the “easily” comment re Tampa, WFT are defensively strong and I think they’ll edge the W.

Otherwise I agree with your picks.

I think Bills, Browns & Titans win in the AFC. Seahawks, Saints & Tampa in NFC.

If Ravens do lose, I think that makes Lamar 0-3 in the playoffs?! Might be some questions depending on how he performs.

Not just play offs. I feel like in all big games he underperforms.

Id love to see Tannehill go all the way, he is a genuinely great QB with very good receivers. And the Titans running game speaks for itself.

But the recent Texans game showed how weak the Titans secondary can be. I really struggle to see that D holding up in the playoffs

Fair shout. I don’t think there’s much pressure on him to win SB this year & I don’t think his position in Baltimore is under threat, but I feel like there is some pressure on him to win at least 1 playoff game this year.

Definitely agree. He performs too well to be at risk. It’s more a question of the MVP heights he reached last year being matched by success in the post season, or if he falls in the bucket of QBs who buckle when it counts the most

For me the question already exists and isn't directly linked to Lamar. The Ravens are 32th in terms of passing play percentage with 44.1%, that's a massive imbalance. In the playoff you face teams that are generally defensively sound and sometimes great, these teams have the ability to force the Ravens into passing significantly more which isn't what they are used to and what they like to do.

Is that what you think, or do you just wanna see Brady lose another SB? :D
