Hi Amad, I'm Phil Jones. They call me Mr Glass99 muscle sensitivity.
If you can afford 250 quid I’m game I just didn’t want to make it silly but I’m game if you are.If you're suggesting a wager that wont be covered for another 9 years at least male a £1000/£250!!
Thinking about it, AWB may just be the sole reason for the poor form of all our wide players this season.I suppose he will make his debut once he starts getting past AWB and Luke on a regular basis in training
To be fair any one would have played mason he was killing at the u18s and 23s by the time he was 17. Any manager who wouldn’t have given him a run would have been stupid. The kid has insane talent. As for Diallo, if Dan janes can get game time Diallo MUST get game time. James can finally watch a real wide player at workBut somehow Greenwood first season happened.
Wait what! Noo. I was playing devils advocate between yourself and the guy you were arguing with.If you can afford 250 quid I’m game I just didn’t want to make it silly but I’m game if you are.
Any manager who played Greenwood would have played Martial too.To be fair any one would have played mason he was killing at the u18s and 23s by the time he was 17. Any manager who wouldn’t have given him a run would have been stupid. The kid has insane talent. As for Diallo, if Dan janes can get game time Diallo MUST get game time. James can finally watch a real wide player at work
That's a fact!To be fair any one would have played mason he was killing at the u18s and 23s by the time he was 17. Any manager who wouldn’t have given him a run would have been stupid. The kid has insane talent. As for Diallo, if Dan janes can get game time Diallo MUST get game time. James can finally watch a real wide player at work
Is it not simply that he's the best winger we have for tracking back. In fairness to the lad, he does work hard in both ends. Completely agree he's not near United level offensively but I do still like him for his efforts and can at least see intellectually why you might play him in bigger games where you might surrender possession dominance. That's a fact!
Every time James plays everyone unanimously agrees that he's terrible, yet if you wait two weeks until we play a big club like Liverpool, half the Caf wants him to play because he'll stretch the game and look dangerous with his pace, despite never actually stretching any game nor looking dangerous with his pace at any time. It's pure faith at its best.
There's almost no risk in dropping James for Diallo or even Pellistri because I refuse to believe that they could be any less effective than he is.
It would be a good start for journalists to stop saying we paid £37m for him in their click bait headlines?Tweet

They have to cover the misquoted figure first, so they can fabricate articles and the narrative that people are angry we paid too much, so that if and when it falls through they can cover the news of why it's actually not such a big deal after all. I don't understand people who read media at all in 2021, they've been garbage and the integrity of the profession has been long gone, so how people still entertain and engage and act like they aren't simpletons if they do is beyond me.It would be a good start for journalists to stop saying we paid £37m for him in their click bait headlines?
If he's getting past AWB regularly then just pop him straight into the FIFA world XI.If he can get past them two regularly he should automatically command a starting spot which he won’t because I doubt he could do that.
I know, can't remember the last time I clicked on any article really, journalists are just click wh*res these days, and most of the news is either misinformed rubbish, deceitful or just plain bad writing. They have to cover the misquoted figure first, so they can fabricate articles and the narrative that people are angry we paid too much, so that if and when it falls through they can cover the news of why it's actually not such a big deal after all. The general consensus is that journos don't write the headlines..It would be a good start for journalists to stop saying we paid £37m for him in their click bait headlines?
I was thinking this exact thing, every journalist acts like we have paid almost 40 million up front, it’s ridiculous. It would be a good start for journalists to stop saying we paid £37m for him in their click bait headlines?
I wrote for a football website a fair few year a go now. We we're told to make click baity SEO titles for all our articles. The general consensus is that journos don't write the headlines..
I think it was Andy Mitten who once said that we don't choose the headline for our articles.I wrote for a football website a fair few year a go now. We we're told to make click baity SEO titles for all our articles.
Hack. Us professional part time writers know more.I think it was Andy Mitten who once said that we don't choose the headline for our articles.
I love the use of the word ‘barren’ as if everyone else is signing worldiesTweet

I'm starting to think there might be some truth to thisThinking about it, AWB may just be the sole reason for the poor form of all our wide players this season.
He's gradually broken their spirits in training so much so that they have no confidence to run at anyone and when they do, they second guess themselves so much that they get easily dispossessed.
Eureka! We solved it - sell AWB and make our wide players great again
I think he's using the term to describe the general inactivity in the transfer market and it isn't aimed at United specfically.I love the use of the word ‘barren’ as if everyone else is signing worldies
You are of course right! My bad.

They don't even write the subheadings these days. The general consensus is that journos don't write the headlines..
Indeed.internet fans hype up player they have never seen - when he does play, no doubt they will throw Peltier’s at him and claim he’s a waste of money. The club is a shamble/ joke etc.
Did you enjoy it and what made you leave?I wrote for a football website a fair few year a go now.
I agree, generally the majority of our fans are quite supportive. If anything it is probably the hype that is too much rather than a lack of support.Unless he's lazy or got the basic things wrong all the time, I don't think any Caf regulars would write off a 17/18 y.o. new player.
Not sure where you're getting this from at all. Diallo is a far brighter prospect than Chong and yeah, Gomes is an extraordinarily gifted footballer but his physical limitations really held him back from the United team. He seems to be thriving in Portugal. Diallo isn't tall but he's very good at using his body to protect the ball. He also has pace which Gomes doesn't have to any great degree.Indeed.
He is very young and has been brought in for the future, just like Dalot was a few years back.
I remember when Dalot, a 17yr old player who had hardly any senior games under his belt for his former team, in Portugal, was expected to waltz into the MUFC first team and perform like a 27 yr old, in his prime. This was never going to happen and when he failed to achieve this, he was tossed aside by fans.
Similarly, I am not expecting anything Earth shattering from Diallo for at least 3-4 years. And the odds of him becoming a 1st team regular are very very low. Remember, the vast majority of promising teenagers don't make it at the highest level and Diallo (and Dalot) are no exception.
We've recently seen Gomez and also Chong, fail to make the grade. And IMO, these players were several levels above Diallo (Chong and Gomez were both doing well in England, against other English youth teams).
In 3-4 years, we'll know if this guy is good enough to play for MUFC, in the EPL.
Conversely, players like Cavani, Teles and Bruno were expected to make immediate impact, as they are either in their prime or just past it (in the case of Cavani).
Clearly you don’t remember that because we signed him when he was 19.Indeed.

That should be the goal!Salah couldn’t get past Luke the other day... AWB has kept sterling quiet each time he’s faced him. But you want diallo to get past them on a regular basis??
You’ve not been around here long have you?........ Is that not enough for a teenager finding his feet in a new league/country?
Don't worry, Greenwood is away from Iceland so Diallo doesn't have a bad influence. Right now we only have honest and hardworking people at the club. That’s what you think! A few days of being horny in Manchester and he’ll be phoning escorts.
I bet he gets a few minutes against Sheffield United and does well.I see we have 5 matches between the 30 Jan and 13 Feb so think there is a slim chance of him possibly making the squad for West Ham game in the Fifth Round, however that is only if he can get in front of Mata & James who still look to be ahead of him in the wide area backups pecking order.
I think he’ll make the bench regardless.Think he'll make the bench on Wednesday if Rashford is out.
Yeah it does feel like he may only make the bench in a league game if we have a wide forward out injuredThink he'll make the bench on Wednesday if Rashford is out.
Assuming that Rashford is rested/for recovery then Martial on the left, Carvani in the centre with James on the right.Yeah it does feel like he may only make the bench in a league game if we have a wide forward out injured
Where's Mason in all this? Waving at the camera from the bench?Assuming that Rashford is rested/for recovery then Martial on the left, Carvani in the centre with James on the right.
Then on the 70th minute, take out Canavi (can't expect a 33y.o to play two full matches within 56hrs), shift James to the left-wing and King Amad onto the right-wing and Martial at the top. Two blood twisting wingers in their own ways.
United wins 1-0.
