Interesting watch!
Yeah those two clearly aren't learning from Eddy in regards to his movement and work rate, Mason might well be but also needs to show it eventually. So annoyed
Martial needs to be dropped, for a prolonged period. If we can’t have Cavani playing all games, then Greenwood comes in, ya know, in his actual position.
Rashford is either brilliant. Or woeful. More often than not this season, it’s woeful. And he should never be shoehorned into the side on the right.
So frustrated to hear Ole talk about Rashford and Martial learning from Cavani...his movement, his work rate, but come match day, there’s no sign of it. Nothing. Statues. Ball to feet.
And why oh why Does Ole leave it longer than glaringly obvious to make changes. He’s done so much good at the club but his timing of subs is painful. No changes at half time despite quite possibly the worst first 45 in a long long time.
What else is new? Young, inconsistent team has off day struggling to break down an "easy" side. Every team has these games and the consensus everywhere, including here, has overwhelmingly been that Manchester United are not expected to be the title-winning team this year despite massive improvements.Meltdown? We just got beaten at home by the worst premier League team ever you lunatic
Yeah maybe now we have finally learnt that you can't keep relying on coming back from behind and turning it around every timeYou can’t get away with going behind all season. Finally punished for the shocking form of our attackers. Have to say Ole pisses about with his subs, they should have each been on 20 minutes earlier.
Are you Mourinho by any chance? That was a young team? What else is new? Young, inconsistent team has off day struggling to break down an "easy" side. If people's upper lips were half as stiff as their nipples whenever this team stumbles, they'd kiss a hole right through Pochettino's ass.
It's a bad result and we played terribly against terrible opposition, ending a really good run of results. It's not the end of the world.
Why would it be offensive? Daft is more appropriate.Hopefully, as in talk of winning the title is somehow offensive?
Yeah they won't get a kick on SaturdayCity will steamroll these.
BANG on we need all that but our money men won't fund itDisaster, I don't know what we did for the first 75 minutes, passed around with no movement or pace. Ole took forever to make a change, 60 mins from Cavani and 80 mins for anyone else. Keeping Martial on was a poor decision, he offers nothing these days and too sulky. Bruno passing is a worry at the moment. Defending was pathetic as always, Maguire is not a leader and cannot lead that line. Missed our chance as City are breaking away and in very good form. Gutted with this result but top 4 is still the aim, we are not ready for a title challenge with this squad. Need a new RB, RW, holding midfielder and striker.
Me too. Tuanzebe and Telles should have been used in the FA game, and Cavani preserved for more important league games, but someone thought Sheffield is a walk in the park, Istanbul revisited. If only we're focus more on the League, we might play with more energy and focus.
But.. it's only Sheffield, they said.
Don't bet on it because we said the same after IstanbulshitThis is what you get when you go on pitch thinking you already won. I hope they have learned the lesson. Poor, poor display. Nothing more.
Rashford, Tuanzebe, DeGea, Martial should be ashamed.
It’s been a long time since a match vs Arsenal has any real importance... and knowing Arsenal fans they hate us so much trying to dent out title chances will make this the biggest match of their season. Our margin for error pretty much disappeared tonight. We have to be as close to perfect as possible going forward to keep pace with city, and more importantly we need them to drop points somewhere along the line. All of a sudden our match against Arsenal becomes even more of a must win.
Nah we beat them twice in that 07/08 season when they got lowest ever total but never forget that 96/97 when Wanchope danced through our defenceDidn't Derby win at OT when they were the worst team ever as well.
Yeah this is probably the most important meeting with Arsenal in the post SAF era, for more than one reason. In addition to the actual result, we do need to prove to ourselves that we’re capable of bouncing back from a bad result like this, and don’t go spiraling into a series of bad results. It’s been a long time since a match vs Arsenal has any real importance... and knowing Arsenal fans they hate us so much trying to dent out title chances will make this the biggest match of their season.
Yeh. This is a tough season, when the team is having 2-3 games per week. You can see how rejuvenate City is by having a proper rest.Me too.
