So annoying that we did not beat Arsenal, they are really not a good team. North London teams doing their best to finish below each other.
If ice hockey (the NHL) can have independant concussion assessors then I'm sure the much wealthier PL can do so.Yeah absolutely needs an independent assessment.
To play instead of who?We need Grealish next season
Instead of playing 3 forwards. To play instead of who?
Exactly my thought, other sports have independent physicians to perform concussion protocol, can't leave that to club doctors, the risk of bias too large and the issue too severe for that.If ice hockey (the NHL) can have independant concussion assessors then I'm sure the much wealthier PL can do so.
So what would you play with Grealish?Instead of playing 3 forwards.
Same here. He needs to drop deep a little.Decided to watch due to Graelish, but this game is beyond woeful and Graelish isnt’t seeing much of the ball.
When he does get the ball, they just have two or three marking him, which as Rio said before the game is why he has been so good. He draws defenders towards him, then it just depends if he can get a pass to another freed up player.Decided to watch due to Graelish, but this game is beyond woeful and Graelish isnt’t seeing much of the ball.
He can play in any of the AM roles, left/right/middle. It’s having the options too and enabling us to mix it up.So what would you play with Grealish?
Yes. The PL should have a independent concussion expert for each game. No agenda then and means no flaunting of the rules or the player being put at risk if club doctor under orders to keep them on.Exactly my thought, other sports have independent physicians to perform concussion protocol, can't leave that to club doctors, the risk of bias too large and the issue too severe for that.
I get people wanting him but I don't see how he gets in our team and he certainly wouldn't sit on the bench. Neither would Bruno or Rashford. He can play in any of the AM roles, left/right/middle. It’s having the options too and enabling us to mix it up.
I’d take him in a heartbeat personally.
I'd hate it if one of our rivals got him and made them even better. It will all come down to finance and what Ole thinks if a priority. Sancho is interesting. I would love Amad to get some cameo appearances before season end to assess him.He can play in any of the AM roles, left/right/middle. It’s having the options too and enabling us to mix it up.

If he goes to City or Liverpool he might sit on the bench.I get people wanting him but I don't see how he gets in our team and he certainly wouldn't sit on the bench. Neither would Bruno or Rashford.
If we don't sign him, I hope he stays at Villa the rest of his career. Really don't want to see him play for a rival. If he goes to City or Liverpool he might sit on the bench.
Tierney is a big loss for them. The quality of players at Arsenal at the moment is atrocious. I don’t think Arteta will ever be good enough but he’s at such a disadvantage with the amount of players who just constantly make individual mistakes down to quality.
A title challenging team is usually of about 15 really good players not 11. If you don't have depth and efficiently rotate then forget title and cups. It is not instead of, but with the others, having different formations against different opponents. So what would you play with Grealish?
And I don't see him going to either of them either for that reason. If he goes to City or Liverpool he might sit on the bench.
Then it leaves the likes of Arsenal or Spurs. And I don't see him going to either of them either for that reason.
I know what you mean, but we’ve such a lack of options in the final 3rd, Greenwood not quite there yet and age is against Cavani, plus we’ve seen the inconsistency in Rashford and Martial this season, we need quality options.I get people wanting him but I don't see how he gets in our team and he certainly wouldn't sit on the bench. Neither would Bruno or Rashford.
As they say at that close range shoot between the leg if you shoot with the strong foot. What a crap finish - just hit it FFS!
But you're talking about a player that would demand to start wherever he goes and would cost a lot. Liverpool have never had a player close to his level as back up to their front three, neither have City.A title challenging team is usually of about 15 really good players not 11. If we get Grealish and when he plays because of his attacking game we can play 1 striker up front or two, loading the midfield. Currently we are too reliant on rashford on left. We need reinforcement on the left.
You could argue Mahrez has a similar role. Signed as the standout player from a "smaller" team for a substantial fee.But you're talking about a player that would demand to start wherever he goes and would cost a lot. We need a CB & CDM well before getting a LW. The only way he comes is if he starts, so who is he replacing?I know what you mean, but we’ve such a lack of options in the final 3rd, Greenwood not quite there yet and age is against Cavani, plus we’ve seen the inconsistency in Rashford and Martial this season, we need quality options.
Priority remains a top quality CF but a Grealish would follow shortly after imo.
Grealish is MUCH better than Mahrez, Grealish also plays for his boyhood club and would only leave to start elsewhere. You could argue Mahrez has a similar role. Signed as the standout player from a "smaller" team for a substantial fee.
A move that makes sense. That's not a reason for us to buy him. Then it leaves the likes of Arsenal or Spurs.
