Or maybe he'll bring Right Wing BackVery disappointed he’s right back and not right wing, as will his ancestors be.

Zeki Fryers. Having looked, it was back on 2012/13 he played for us. Didn’t think it was that far back.Wasn’t that the full back? I can’t remember his name but wasn’t he a meme for falling over like a fish?
Ooh that’s a good oneOr maybe he'll bring Right Wing Back
I know, it was my mistake. If you read further down the thread, someone else mentioned it too. I thought no one would read the whole thread from the start after all this time. Nevertheless, i'll edit the post. This is not correct at all. He is the only Spaniard to have scored 2 hat-tricks.
Raul, Gerard Lopez, Morientes, Joseba Llorente, Negredo and Lucas Perez have all scored hat-tricks.
Zeki Fryers?Good technical ability. Not seen him play for years now.
went on a train of thought...
Who was the CB that left United on a free, and Spurs then bought him months later to circumvent paying us a fee?
that was dodgy as feck. Can’t remember who that was, and assume they didn’t go into anything of note.
that’s the one. Took me a bit of Googling to find him.
Nothing can go wrong tonight now, can it ?Manchester United have NEVER lost a PL/English league game at Old Trafford where they were leading at half time in the entire history of the club.

Both if by English game you mean English League games excluding the cups I dont know about that record in cup competitions but in all English League games in our entire history its a true factPL or English league game? It can't be the latter, surely!
Just checked, it's since 1984. Great record but not "in the entire history of the club".

Literally had no idea about this. So weird.United finished 3rd in the FA Cup in 1970.
For a period of 5 years they had a 3rd & 4th place match, I managed to go my whole life without knowing that until recently.

This is the most interesting thing. In all honestly, he'd probably have played more on the right, higher up and with 3 CMs behind him with more instruction to score goals.I wonder how he'd be viewed in the modern era of wingers being inverted goal-scorers?
Different game, different systems. Wingers of yesteryears are more suited as wingbacks in the modern game.Ryan Giggs didn't score as many goals as some may think.
His most prolific season was 93-94
In fact he only managed more than 10 goals in 5 seasons.
He scored 168 goals in 963 appearances. Paul Scholes got 155 in 718 appearances.

This isn't me having a pop at Giggs, just saying that I thought he regularly got double figures.

4 is a big number for BentekeTweet

I feel like 4 is a really small number for this??
I think our goals after 90 minutes are quite spread out. We pack the box so virtually anyone can get a goal including the keeper.I would have thought one of our players would have held the record
I don't. It's a goal in 90th+ minute and a winning goal.Tweet

I think he would work brillantly in a modern 3-4-2-1 or 3-4-1-2 formation. He is not a goal scoring threat like many modern (inverted) wingers, and he would be a bit to weak defensively for a fullback in a four man defence. But in such a formation he could play on the wing and be quite important for his team.Ryan Giggs didn't score as many goals as some may think.

He’d have just adapted his game the way he had to when he couldn’t run as fast anymore.Ryan Giggs didn't score as many goals as some may think.

In what way? Giggs didn't even come close to being anywhere near as good as Iniesta was. I know your point is based around him growing up in the Spanish system so would've likely been a much better player but I still can't see it personally. Iniesta is, IMO, the best midfield player of all time.If Giggs came up in Spain in the mid 00s he would have been Iniesta
I wonder how many countries have a football pyramid that has as many professionals tiers as England. In the Netherlands, for example, there are only two tiers of professional football; every else is amateurs (even if there are payments of some kind at the top amateur level).2001 FIFA Survey: approximately 250 million footballers worldwide.
