We will never win anything with him, top 4 every year with shit on a stick football is the only goal. Complete stagnation

We are such a poor team to watch. Ole fanboys will use every excuse under the sun to stick up for him, player error, quality not good enough bla bla but here he is being schooled by Rodgers (who most of Ole supporters think is worse manager than him) when he is missing several key players such Barnes, Maddison, Pereira, Justin etc. Fred was a ticking timebomb vs PSG, everyone could see him getting sent off save for Ole, well in the end he did get sent off, we lost the match and ultimately got KO'ed from CL. Same shit today, Fred was abysmal, but doesn't get subbed at HT, nor when he is subbing on 4 players at 65' mark.

Also, can someone explain the logic in benching Bruno for this QF, right before International break, but starting him in 2nd leg vs Real Socediad when we were 4-0 up?

It’s just go out there and see what happens tactics. Leicester way better drilled. They have a way of playing. We just look all over the place.

It's very annoying that there's no great Manager out there. If you say Allegri or some fecking hipster choice I'm going to slap you.
Erik Ten Hag, he is 10 times the manager that Ole Solksjaer is. But really doubt he'd want to come United, the club has no vision whatsoever and makes poor decisions all the time. Ole's renewal will be the next.

We are in purgatory.
Not doing badly enough to get sacked but clear as day he is taking us nowhere.
This is going to be long and painful

Trophies dont matter. Playing shit on a stick football is where its at. We've made so many shit decisions in the last 8 years but appointing Ole after 8 games was the worst by a mile.

The attack is a mess, there's no organization. It's a free for all to do what you want when you want.

Genuinely we are knackered either way. If we keep Ole he’s gonna keep us near but never get us all the way.

If you bring a new team in again it’s back to square one, new manager probably give current players another go with the odd signing and before you know it it’s another 5 years of nothing, that’s the risk.

Dont think its coaching, we haven't done anything different today.
No surprise we looked leggy early on when we play VDB and Pogba after so long out. Against a side with a weeks rest as well.
Thats the mistake.

Cannot believe the team we started with. Matic hasn't played for a long time and even when we were absolutely getting schooled in midfield, he waited till the 60th min to make subs.

He is a good man but a horrible manager. Need someone much much better than him. The team has good quality but we just don't have the coaching staff to make full use of it. Just see the difference in Chelsea once they got Tuchel, but we will keep twiddling out thumbs because our owners and CEO are fine with top 4.

Guys, forget about the results for the moment and look at how we play. Our general play is so fecking poor. It has been like this for months. How can you watch United 2 games a week and think this is how a well drilled team looks like ?

Under Mourinho and Moyes we were similarly bad in possession (at least in spells). I know that we can't ever expect a Solskjaer team to play like a Guardiola one, it's just a bit disappointing that we are still unable to pass the bloody ball, with absolutely no signs of improvement in that regard in 2.5 years.
It has been one of the most frustrating things to witness at united over the last 7 odd years under moyes, mourinho and ole of watching us look so uncomfortable in possession when pressured, struggling to control the tempo of matches and sitting back against the big modern football playing clubs.

Yeah just one game too many for us.

Leicester have shown what having a top quality central midfield looks like.

I have been Ole in for the longest time. But since Jan, our performances have been horrendous. Maybe some good results in there, but overall as a “team” we are horrible. This is what Mourinho football was like, didn’t like it then wont like it now. This club really needs to rethink its rebuilt strategy. How can one of the biggest clubs in the world have NO MIDFIELDERS who can control a fecking ball. Time and again, we play it out from the back, 3/10 times, we beat the initial press. Only for the fecking midfielder to miss control, lose momentum, play it back and then either the CB restart or hoof it for our forwards, none of which can ever beat a CB in the air. What’s the fecking point?

This rot was setting in way before SAF retired, but his winning mentality and just the aura kept us winning. Once he left, the actual poor state of our coaching and standards shown through.

If Ole can recognise this, get some world class coaches in and become just a “manager” then he may turn this around. But I doubt it.

Football is supposedly nicer than under Jose and LVG though

Most of the nice football has been by our opponents outplaying us in most games.

I think this sums it up. No better than last season and all the same inconsistency in performances. It won’t ever all come together under him because he isn’t a good enough coach to bring about the consistency needed to win trophies.

We are 2nd instead of 3rd because Liverpool imploded.

It’s Europa or bust for me. If he can’t even navigate what’s left in that tournament, he shouldn’t be here next season

Clearly this can all be attributed to City's spending power

Also if Maguire scores from 30 yards it's a completely different game so we did enough to win

We’ve looked shite for ages now City game aside. We’ve managed to grind out results but I can’t remember the last time we put on a real good performance for 90 minutes.

So embarrassing for Manchester United to be so bad in a quarter final. Completely outplayed, no desire no tactics and no skills . Pathetic

We're basically Arsenal in Wenger's last few years. Happy to get top four without ever really challenging for anything. Difference is, Arsenal won the odd FA Cup here and there.

Keep Ole and we will win nothing and soon will lose Bruno who will have a host of clubs for his service. The guy is a winner and he won't wait for a club to regain its ability to win trophies. We thought Jose was not good enough but we won 2 trophies under him and came second. Imagine the Ole fan boys defending him with this shit on a stick football while winning nothing.

Hope the club show some smartness and not give Ole an extension. Line up a new manager who will take us forward. Ole is not the guy for us.

Moaners the lot of you, Ole is progressing us, from semis to quarters. Give him that 4 year contract and pay him all the money. We need more Maguires and players like VdB who signs but never plays but when he does, average.

In all honesty, why waste money on VdB when that money could have gone to a cdm position. Joke

We'll nick the EL this season most probably but forget winning any big trophies like the league with this level of general play even with Messi and Lewa leading the line.

Cups aren’t all they’re cracked up to be anyway ain’t that right Ole. Judging by the shit served up tonight he must really believe it.
