Laughable response. I bet you are the type who assumes because a Guardiola doesn't play a player he can't be all that. I bet you think Sane overrated. Plus Sancho was never good enough so Pep let him go....

Infact I'm convinced you are less than 2.5 decades old. Judging from your reasoning in your post.
Why was my reply a laughable response? I'm no redcafe regular, so your need to typecast me was misplaced. What Foden will win is the league title and maybe next season's PFA Young player award. Isn't that enough? Why discredit yourself by posting your daydreams.

Surprised to find out he could go into double figures for medals by the end of this season, already at eight. All being well he's going to be massively successful.

Because it has zero substance. Hence, laughable.

The quality of that specific response was not synonymous with how long or regular you have been on the cafe. It rather had everything to do with how laughable it was. Type casting would be claiming that was what you ALWAYS post on the cafe. Which would be a straight up lie and just as laughable to do.

The better question is why discredit yourself with laughable responses?
You are here on you high horse declaring people "trolls' and "day dreamers" and "youngsters" based on nothing but YOUR ill qualified opinion. Not even an actually reasonable argument to counter why anyone has said what they have. Yet somehow you think you should be taken seriously.

Look, you sound like a decent guy. I wish you the best for the future. I'm going to do something else other than keep replying to you. Regards.

I'd be amazed if he was a legit Ballon D'Or contender. I think he can become a world class player but I don't think he has that extra dimension.
Remember Messi and Ronaldo will both be finished in 3-4 years. No reason why Foden can't be one of the top three players left after they're gone.

Other than Messi I have not really seen anyone as gifted with the ball as him at that age.
Crazy talk

There’s never been an English player quite like him. He’s far more like a Spanish player in his style. So elegant, seems to glide on the ball and just pass players with ease. You can see why he gets the Iniesta comparisons. His decision making for a player so young is very very impressive.
Wow, we literally watch Grealish perform mini miracles on week to week basis and people come out with stuff like this. I don't even wanna get into a Hoddle, Waddle, Barnes, Gascoigne conversation.

Today's performance kind of made the hyperbole in this thread not so out of the world of an opinion suddenly.

He was insane, apart from his finishing. But then he scored the winner anyway. 20 years old don't forget. Although that perhaps makes Bellingham's performance even more insane, considering he'll be the same age as Foden in 3 seasons time.

Foden is a gem. People will understand as the games increase under his belt.

This kid's potential is limitless. Some credit has to go to Pep because the easiest thing to do when David Silva got old was to just replace him with a ready made replacement.

I was surprised by the speed and physicality of the Dortmund players last night. Apart from Foden's obvious skill as a football player he was often able to run past and compete physically with their players. He is small and thin but is now clearly getting much stronger and over the last few months he seems to have got quicker as well...at least it looks that way to me... maybe I'm drinking too much in this lockdown era... haha!!.

Quite annoying how good this kid is. Seems like he's developing into one of the leaders in the team.

He seems to score every time he plays. Depsite that sometimes only being 5 minutes.

He's a cnut, attention seeking again with this trend of covering his mouth talking to Haaland again. He knows it will be in the papers.

Foden, Bellingham and Greenwood. All 3 special talents. Englands future look bright, to say the least.

Where would he play? He isn't displacing Rashford, who is better.
No idea and...I don't really care, as we're just talking hypothetically about a scenario that can't and won't happen. I'd like to think that we'd find a place for him, somewhere.

Yeah he seems like a mature young lad, I'm sure he'd be liked.

He's such a gifted players. England have quite a few tbf
Very gifted. With the amount of young talent in the England pool now, it would be criminal if we didn’t achieve something in the coming years.

Foden
Bellingham
Grealish
Sancho
Rashford
Greenwood
Mount
Trent
Shaw
Stones

So much promising talent at the right ages.

On current form Foden would certainly be in ahead of Rashford. He’d get into the team even from the right side.
I'm curious if he's as effective on the right, because he's keeping out Sterling right now.
