I seriously dont know who signs a contract like that unless you are Messi at Barcelona.
Did Daniel Levy dose him with LSD on the way to the office then hire an Ed Woodward lookalike in and tell Harry he was moving to us?
You have heard Kane talk right? Cannot say he has ever stuck me as someone who would think strategically. That said, he is a Spurs fan, and like their fan base he probably got carried away with a couple of seasons in the CL and a nice shiny stadium on the horizon.
This said, I think he may be able to leave. With no CL next season, Spurs are pretty fecked with their stadium debt. I can see them cashing in if they can get £90m+ as otherwise they're going to be holding onto a quickly declining asset from a financial value prospective. Furthermore, the guy picks up a lot of injuries that seem to be skimmed over so if I were Spurs I would actually think about selling as he could end up like a Hazard in a year or two.
As the saying goes, better to sell a year early than a year late.
As for the game, the result pretty much means it is curtains for both Everton and Spurs in regard to top 4.
