Unbeaten at home against the ESL teams are Leeds, we're unlikely to be the ones that buck that trend

We'll need to concentrate for 90+ minutes if it's a tight game because they've shown they'll go all the way to the end and get a late goal.

Under the new Super League rules, do we still get three points, even if we lose this?
I definitely want 3 points, this could be our last proper EPL. Beside, we are not fighting for top 4 anyway, the players are fighting to put pressure on Man City.

United finally getting back on track this season and the owners still find a callosal way of shagging everything up. Only now it affects the whole of Europe to.

I always look forward to games against our true rivals, but I feel flat for this.

I'm genuinely saddened by the actions of the last few days - as United's always been a huge part of my life.

I just don't care about this match, and honestly, I may even skip it. . as it will annoy me more just watching it.

Could someone tell me what is the meaning of this match if the team cannot achieve the trophy, what is the different between 2nd and 20th? I cannot find any excited, interested and looked forward before this game or next match anymore.

Is Leeds our rival? No, Leeds was. They will not touch us anymore forever.

Now think Leeds will win this.

With all this ESL bollocks, concerned Ole’s boys will not be fully focused.

Should be a game to get really excited about, given our recent form, our last game against them, and not least the rivalry. Then this ESL nonsense came and is screwing everything up completely.

    Hope we can stay focused.

The media narrative around this game is going to be absolutely horrible and worst of all, we are in no position to disagree. What an absolutely disgusting position to put us fans in.

For the sake of football, I almost hope we lose as a big finger to the ESL. Every game before leagues are stopped needs to be won by the non-ESL teams to show the world and the plastic kids demography what a joke it is.

The best scenario would be us protesting wearing the warmup shirts and then letting Leeds run through and score goals unopposed. Never happening though.

So hard to get excited for this game now with the news around football lately. It makes me think what's the point? I really should not feel this way before our first trip to Elland Road in feck knows how long. As football fans, we should be so excited for this game to bring back an old rivalry. Hopefully, things will be smoothed out at least slightly by the weekend...

I think Dan James should start. Back four should remain the same. Greenwood is playing well so needs to start and of course Bruno.

The rest of the team will be made up of three from Fred, McTominay, Pogba, Rashford and Cavani.

I think McTominay will start, but I'd probably see Fred & Pogba starting too.. Would feel a bit odd to leave out Rashford & Cavani, but they may be better suited to have ready for Roma or come off the bench here.

    Henderson
    Wan-Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Shaw
    Fred
    McTominay Pogba
    Bruno
    Greenwood James
    -----
De Gea; Bailly, Tuanzebe, Telles; Matic, van de Beek; Amad, Rashford, Cavani

We could close the gap with City to 5 points here.

And thanks to our owners, I couldn't care less. Brilliant.

We will be the villains and Leeds will be the slayers of the evil and there is no way to defend United actions. :(

Why not just play the reserves. Might as well start getting used to it.

My first away game was at Leeds. Allan Clarkes first game as Leeds Manager I think. Was in Gelderd End with Leeds fan mate from school. 0-0 I think.

Had some great aways there since. Cracking atmosphere (with fans). Looking forward.

Some right fecking whoppers on here at the moment saying they don't care if we get beaten.

The players and manager have been great this season and you should be still supporting them. It's the owners who are the problem, and have been for some time.

This is the worst part. Only when our parasite owners vacate the club will United be United again. The veil of the last 18 years is finally off for all to see. This ESL needs to fail miserably for that to happen and I can't see that occurring.

We cannot take any form of moral high ground when being attacked - rightly - by opposition fans. City and Chelsea may have bought the league and ruined competition, but our cnut owners are ripping it apart from top to bottom and destroying the entire footballing structure.

It's taken the wind completely out of the sails - to think I was getting irrationally excited about a potential City implosion and the gap being 5 points. At least the neighbours won't hear me screaming at the telly because we've tried a back heel unsuccessfully for the fifth time in 10 minutes.

It's not a case of caring about being beaten or not. It's a case of just not caring for the match at all. I'm sure the players and managers, (of both teams), also aren't going to be in the right headspace, after the selfish actions of all involved.

The last few days have royally fecked a season I've been quite happy about, to this point.

Sorry. Cant relate to that. I don't just pick up and put down my team. I passionately want them to win and go on to have a successful season.

The audience is overreacting to the ESL news. It has nothing to do with the players and is an entirely separate issue (whether or not ESL is good or bad is a very important question, but unrelated to the game vs Leeds).

Here we have an EPL game which is to be won, whereas business and politics is for discussion between UEFA and ESL board (and, perhaps, also other authorities).

Everything just feels overshadowed at this point...

I do kinda like being the villains though. 5-1 United. Cavani (2), Greenwood, Rashford, Maguire

Our march to the title continues - 2 nil win.

That being said, the mood is a bit crap with the super league nonsense :(

The news this weekend just makes this game feel pointless. No way we're catching City, top 4 doesn't matter and its clear that local rivalries are something my club doesn't give a shit about. So its sort of like - why should I care?

Leeds will flaunt the moral high ground as they did against Liverpool. And they'll be right to do so.

That sits far more uneasy with me than any loss would
