Do you hold this opinion of Fergie, Keane or anyone else who has associated with the club?
Yes I do. All of them are hypocrites. Keane was the first player to try and get over £100k a week. The Glazers took over the club, in part, because of Ferguson and his racing horse. Money is all about football now. Sky are taking a moral standing yet they were the ones that ruined football as we know it.

What has further disgusted me is both the Liverpool manager and captain have come out publicly against the Super League abomination. Jordan Henderson spoke on behalf of the players as a "collective position" putting pressure on the American owners. What about the United equivalents Ole and Maguire?? Absolutely nothing. Deafening silence.
Ole doesnt have the gravitas behind him that has been earnt by Klopp and Guardiola by winning stuff. Thats probably why. Wants to keep his job (and i want him to keep it as well). Whereas liverpool and city wouldnt dare sack klopp and guardiola respectively.
Both Klopp and Guardiola had media commitments. Ole did not. He would not have had time to comprehend let alone give any meaningful information out after our game against Burnley.

Allegedly Maguire was active behind the scenes and Rashford, Shaw and Bruno were more vocal in the public domain.

United: "We have listened carefully to the reaction from our fans, the UK government and other key stakeholders."

Boris will claim victory for this!

I coach a team with 15, 16 and 17 years olds. All of them, every singel one of them, hated this superleague.
Brilliant. I hated all those talks about the younger generation not liking the game or whatever. As a millenial, I know what's it like to have the older generation assuming the worst of yours and I don't ever want to be someone like that.

That statement by Utd is interesting though, couldn't help but re-emphasize the challenges football is facing and they'll continue to work on "sustainable solutions".

Thinking up of my next genius thread
Through all of this, why did they not just start this as a pre-season or post-season tournament and try to grow it from there? Idiots imo, of course there would be a massive backlash if they suddenly announced it like they did
