City will have to play one of their other £50m defenders in the final now. How will they cope?

Could it be possible to get another red and score against them? We need that.

My goodness Villa are tragic. Pep has nothing to worry about if this is the dross Villa is going to serve up all day

Get in! Another red card and Villa may have a chance here.
Doubt it, our record v 10 men even in championship was a joke. We couldn't even score a goal v Sheff United when they played with 10 men for about 40 minutes a month ago.

Man. City more likely to score another 1 or 2 as we'll leave too much space pushing forward. Couldn't get a stream for first 10 minutes so since then watched about 95% Man. City possesion.

Why don't refs just say "I've explained the decision. Final warning, walk away now or it's a second yellow." to players who just won't shut up like Gundogan?

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
Not that he's biased...

"Michael Brown (Former Manchester City midfielder) on BBC Radio 5 Live

VAR see the contact on the slow motion - John Stones comes across and hesitates and then goes to play the ball. Yes, he catches him it's a yellow it's not one where he's below the knee and the leg's planted where you can seriously injure someone, it's really high. The referees need to understand the difference in contact, at this point the referees don't understand that."

City leading at half time because of poor decision making by the Villa keeper and he's meant to be one of the best keepers in the league? As I said before I can't recall a season like this before for goalkeeper errors.

A clear red card for Stones. Laughable the reaction by Pep on the dugout the same chap was nodding his head when the Leeds fella got sent off against his team.

He's so, so lucky he got his leg off the ground there. If his studs stayed planted :(

Because it's not warning they need, it's to understand the rule which is that they should not talk to referees. Fernandinho is the captain, talk to him so that he talks to the referee.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

To be fair by Brown’s standards that’s a good tackle. Absolute cnut of a footballer.

He's still winning. We need Villa to score and maybe get a second red out of them. Or a second yellow out of Gundogan?
I know he is winning, just don't get why is he bitching and moaning about the red. My river is bit slow today. Well, always is.
And HT.

And second yellow for Gundogan and red for Foden, I am fine with that. Anyone else? Rodri maybe? Bernardo? Mahrez? Red for everyone!

Don’t see Villa scoring it’s a pity Trezique got the injury last time he could have changed the game, down to El Gazi now is he even available?

Anything is possible if Villa decides that they want to show City how angry they are about their owners. They just have to find the energy and the fire today.

We need to get Davis on more. He'd hold it up a bit better and get us some free kicks.
