Double-edged sword for Ronaldo. No Champions League glory but he does get to pad the stats by banging in 5 or 6 against CarrierBag and FC Tiramisu in the group stages of the EL.

Head to head
So both Milan and Atlanta have an advantage over Juve.
Napoli would probably have an advantage too...
Juve need to win both games and hope Napoli drop points in 1

Milan play Atlanta on the final day.
this could be interesting

Juve must take a decision about Bentancur. Is he good enough to be one of the player to rely on next year?
Same as Dybala, Arthur, Bernardeschi, Rabiot

they haven't level-up yet.
I have hardly watched Italian football this season, seen the passing masterclass video....blimey has he been that bad? Whenever I have seen him for club and country before, he has looked a huge prospect. I always liked Dybala but never rated the last three names tbh

I highly doubt Ronaldo is staying if Juve don't qualify for the CL.

He is not going to play in the Europa League.

As long as Messi continues to play, Ronaldo’s record as the all-time CL topscorer is under threat. There’s no way he misses a season of the competition at this stage of his career. He’ll 100% want to play CL football next season to at the very least keep adding to that tally to ensure he stays #1 until he retires. Ideally, he’d want to win it one more time too.

Milan and Atalanta need 3 points to ensure top 4. Milan play cagliari at home, while atalanta go to genoa, who are safe

defensive league indeed. only Barca, Bayern and PSG rival total goals scored by Inter, Atalanta and Napoli. no league has several teams that scored 80+ goals like in Italy. in fact, the worst scoring teams in top 5 from Serie A still score more than Real, Atletico, United, City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Sevila, Leicester etc.

It will all come down to Napoli I think. They've been in excellent form for last few months but still feels like they could drop silly points in last two, think they'll be o.k at home to Verona but away to Fiorentina is a banana skin game. I know they're safe now but Vlahovic been in fantastic form lately and they won v Lazio in last home game.

Of course Viola also have historical beef with Juve so perhaps we'll get Torino effort from them instead. Italian league is still the one major one where you get some very "on the beach" performances from teams with little to play for, at least La Liga used to have the right idea with teams paying incentives to rivals to get their motivation up.

Who do Inter hate more? Juventus or AC?

I see Inter are playing Juventus next. Will Inter roll over with nothing to play to possibly feck over their city neighbours chances of Champion's League football or give it everything to feck over Juventus?
I honestly can't answer to it.
I feel the rivalry against AC Milan more than Juventus, and most of the Milano citizens thinks the same too. Derbies always give me tremblings.
However, Juventini hates us as hell because they think they've been screwed up (by us???) in Calciopoli trial in 2006. So we hate them back, also because of many controversial episodes happened in the league (1961,1998, 2002, 2003, 2006...).
Inter-Juve match has always been called "the Italian derby", a classic, the match between the only two teams never been relegated at that time (until 2006).

Next saturday will surely give everything on the pitch to feck over Juventus... Conte want to take his personal victory against Agnelli and end a winning era he started himself. The chance of put Juve out of next CL is huge.

Yeah, the way i would put it is the rivalry with milan is bigger but the one with juventus is more charged. Like, milan are THE rivals, but the hatred runs deeper and more genuine towards juventus

Yes, that's a different kind of rivalry.

The rivarly against AC Milan is mere, sporty.
The rivalry against Juventus is deeper and more "hateful"

Seems a really good team spirit at Inter these days.

Watch it all blow up when Conte misses out to Mourinho in signing someone like Matic in the summer though.

Inter, please do everyone in Europe a favour today and beat, or at least draw with Juve.

Atalanta 2 up as expected in Genoa early on, secure top 4 if they win today as another who have better H2H with Juve.

Inter gone full strength v Juventus, looking forward to watching that more than the cup final. Can see Lukaku bullying the Juve backline all game. Will go for 1-1 draw.

Juventus not making CL will be the biggest story this season particularly after the last few weeks antics.

Penalty to Juve, Darmian is the guy.

Handa saved and Ronaldo scored from rebound

VAR should not enter in situations like juve penalty imo. Not saying it wasn't a penalty, but come on, it has to be much clearer than that for VAR

Few chances but fairly dominant first half from juventus

Difference in motivation is stark

It's really amazing the ego of Ronaldo in that second goal. It's like he isn't happy if it is not his goal. Haha.

One of the best halves of the season in any league that. Loved the intensity to it all even if not the best passing.

Thought that's the best Juve have played for many months although they still feel weak in central midfield, Inter had loads of 4s on 3s but wasted the final ball by taking too many touches when approaching the box.

Very very soft penalty for Inter. Juventus really need to get Kulveski off, got the benefit of the doubt for slipping/ref bottling the decision but he won't the next time. Morata would do well with all the crossing in this so seems him and Dybala are obvious subs.

Only just errr realised it's actually 2-1....:nervous: My stream cut out at 47:30 when Inter were just knocking it around the halfway line so not sure what happened....

Don't think there's any issue in Inter motivation, Lukaku popping up as RB late in the half and channelling Eto'o from 2009/10. They've just been too slow today in quickly shifting the ball from side to side when in counter attacks today as they've had plenty of them.
