A lovely cross, granted, but he isn’t half shite.

I’m all for giving players a chance but he’s been here two years and he’s never going to start regularly for us. Cash in while he’s (sorta) hot and invest the money where we need it most.

Fantastic cross for the goal and he does look better on the left....but, he simply isnt good enough for us, the quality and intelligence simply isnt there. Not only that, would hate to see him getting games and hinderign the development of some of our youngsters.
Really should be an obvious sale this summer for me
100% this
He didn’t look like the player with 1st team experience, amad should get all his minutes next year.

Great cross for the opener, wish he did that more often. Showed the usual grittiness in his game and he's always full of running.

Great run-off for the ball for the 1v1 opportunity but you'd expect far more composure and confidence with his finishing at this level.

I think he'll go on to be a good player for a solid PL side nonetheless.

Very good assist but other than that was not too involved in the game.

Also his attempt to rob Amad of an assist was criminal.

Thought he had a decent game, great cross for Elanga's goal and he laid it off for Van de Beek to win the penalty, only thing was he should have scored the chance Amad laid on for him.

He has a place in our squad. Not a first teamer but he can come in and do a job like today
Give it to someone else and reinvest the procedes of his sale.

He's just not good enough at our level in all honesty. I don't think he's a priority to sell mind you, but if a decent offer came in for him then we'd be fools to turn it down.

Brilliant cross, Cavani would love that. Too bad I don't remember they ever start together. That cross might boost his transfer value to 30m pounds at least

His overall game still not enough unfortunately and that miss was terrible, it would have set Amad on his 2nd assist in his 2nd start.

He's quality on the left but the problem is that we have Rashford and now Pogba, who both favor that role as well and Ole doesn't rotate either of them as much to give James some consistent game time.

Criminal that finish

Unfortuantly looked a class below Amad and Elanga in the attack. Fair play for the cross though
A class below Elanga? Come on...

What a cross... Top 3 this season as far as United are concerned.

Great cross....terrible player. Luckily the two young lads played much better and we won the game.

James' cross for Elanga's goal was perfect. Considering he hit it off his left foot you can't give him anything but praise for that. However, when he had the chance to kill the game with a simple sidefoot his decision making was completely off. Because of that choice we spent the final third of the game pretty much under siege. Silly really.

I know he's still quite green but he's a lot more experienced than someone like Elanga. He had a chance to put the game beyond doubt and let the kids play out the end of the match without pressure. Instead they had to weather a storm. I question his head at key stages: He's either too safe or too much.

Theres always one player at our club who is clearly not good enough but whoever the manager is at the time, they stick with them constantly. It keeps happening.

Anderson, Cleverly, Fellaini. Theres always someone.

Who is going to buy him?
Leeds wanted him last summer and there are rumours Leicester are also interested
Surely some bottom table team, I dont think he's on big wages we could get 10M for him I think.
I doubt Leeds will be interested anymore. They've got better players.

The lad really tries hard, but apart from a few good goals and some very early promise, he hasn't made an impression or made a case for himself.
We need to accept a loss on the lad and move him on, so he gets a chance elsewhere.
I'll be surprised if we get more than a sub - £10m fee though.
Prediction - Sadly, Ole will want to keep him.

Everyone is going on about his cross...it was good, but knowing his track record in terms of technical ability and decision making I'm inclined to think it was a fluke.

One time in the park I sent a perfect free kick into the top corner, left the keeper with no chance. It would have made Juninho proud. But it doesn't mean that I ever had the potential to do it consistently. That's where I am with Dan James at this point. He can make a good thing or two happen occasionally, but I doubt even he knows how he did it or could reproduce it given the chance.

For 10M we should keep him, I mean he can play in some cup games l. But he shouldn't be a regular by any means.

If Sancho comes then I think we'll sell James and it'll probably be to Leeds where he was about to go back in 2019 before we came in for him.

He had a good spell back in February-March, clearly an ok player but don't think there's place for him if Sancho comes and Amad may start getting his chance more frequently from next season.
