The problem is Unted's transfer news is front page stuff. Everything is played out in the public eye. No one bothers too much about City, Chelsea transfers. Hence we seem to be inefficient. Goes with the terrortory I guess.

Hmm, I'm pretty convinced that Dortmund are looking to recoup approx £100m including add-ons, it's a large gap to plug.
It’s such a shame that Citeh are going to get 10-15M from this deal. But hopefully we get this deal done this time.

For anyone saying this will be wrapped up very soon I highly doubt it.
The Euro's start tomorrow and England play on Sunday. I cant see a transfer of this size being announced during a tournament and while the player is on duty.
The best we can hope for is a deal is "in place" and ready to be announced AFTER the Euro's.....So mid July.

That seems a much more likely valuation than what our Bundesliga brigade was suggesting some pages ago.
Will end up at €85-90 incl addon with payment over 3-4 years.
I think this will happen now, just standard negotiations but we will ultimately agree to a deal. With Sancho in our attacking depth is quite good. Martial, Rashford, Cavani, Greenwood, Sancho, Amad provides us with depth and lots of pace as well.
This is England we're talking about though.

There is one thing I like about Dortmund - you don't walk into an ambush. You know exactly what you are gonna get. They are awful to do business with - but fair.
You don't haggle with BVB. You come up with what they want, the deal is usually done.

Funny if its true... I kind of remember last summer we did bid 50m for Sancho, so this year we are getting more serious with 60m bid!

Or maybe I’m naively optimistic...
I hope that their rep can’t be seen to drop further and we get a real signal of intent. Then hopefully they find some money to sort out Old Trafford, it bloody needs it that’s for sure.
So, we will keep increasing our bid until we get to the €90 + €5 add ons that they want and that will be that. It won't be much of a negotiation.
