Average season for Dortmund, can't make the England playing squad. I've never wanted this signing, very over hyped and lacks pace. It's obvious we need a left footed right winger imo, if we sign Sancho then we would have so many players who's best position is LWF with Rashford, Martial, James, Sancho and some would even throw Pogba there. Yes I do think Sancho's best position is LW and not RW.

Just praying this is all a smoke screen for someone else.
Why lie? How is it an average season?

Let's go through his Dortmund Stats year after year. They are mad.

2021 @ 21 Years Old - 36 G+A in 2976 Minutes

2020 @ 20 Years Old - 40 G+A in 3274 Minutes

2019 @ 19 Years Old - 33 G+A in 2967 Minutes

2018 @ 18 Years Old - 12 G+A in 1400 minutes

So how was this season average? He got off to a slow start and still ended with mad numbers.

And to compare Vs KDBs best season in the Bundesliga

44 G+A in 4551 Minutes
So a goal or assist every 103 minutes

Jadons last two seasons have him at a goal or assist every 82 minutes and 82 minutes again.

So if anything he is very consistent just had a slow start and got injured this season.

Yeah it's a year long smokescreen with fake confirmed bids.

That's one of his best assets. His decision making is really good for his age and that helps to adapt to new environments hopefully
Yep it's why he's going to be perfect for us. We have enough people who take constant risks and lose the ball a lot. Rashford, Bruno, Pogba... you need those players. But you also need the players who will just make the right and smart choice on a consistent basis to balance them out and be better for the team. Sancho is perfect in that he's perfect for the team and combines that with brilliant dribbling ability (better than anyone in our squad) and brilliant passing and very respectable goalscoring too.

He has more goals per 90 and more assists per 90 than any other non Kane England attacker this season. What does it say for the others if his season was average?

Look at how much drama you’ve put in that post. What a load of bollocks.

He did struggle in the 1st half of the season but the whole Dortmund side didn't really look good.

He got back to his normal level after the 1st few months.

We can't break down crap teams that sit in a low block, and there are still people who think the answer is signing Usain Bolt.
Funny thing is he’s not even that slow. Might not be Walker, Rashford Traore fast but he’s no mug. Maybe people just think he is Mata slow due to the way he plays. Ball close to him always ready to pivot, change direction or pull a skill followed by a quick burst of acceleration. Effectively he’s like Hazard in that regard.

How come he didn't make the england squad today? Most likely been mentioned here before but 99% of Sancho threads mean either bundesliga fans crying, Man Utd fans crying or both so I didn't want to go back too far

He’s in Manchester having a medical and was given leave for it.

No one knows.

We can only guess. Might be a injury or might be because Southgate makes a lot of very questionable decisions.

Southgate is not going to give a shit about that. He tends to judge players by what they do in an England shirt over club form, and Sancho has done nothing special for England in a position that is very competitive.

or he’s just not as good as the other attacking players

He is better than some on the bench for sure.

Sterling is playing despite having an awful season so it's not like selection is merit based mate.

Grealish should be in the 11 but isn't because of Sotugates strange choices. Trippier left back a strange one too. If they want him for set pieces surely just leave walker out and go Trippier and Shaw?

I don't think anyone is really arguing that Sancho should start but he should be on the bench.

What's Foden done? Grealish limited game time but MotM almost every time? Picking based on what they've done for England is weird because games are so far apart and so many things happen between games (which is why Rashford likely isn't in).

It's a bias because Sancho isn't in the premier league IMO. If he did anywhere close to what he did for Dortmund at a bigger English club (hence no Grealish), then he'd walk in the 11, let alone being behind fecking Bukayo Saka which is madness.

Sancho had had chances for England amd has looked poor.

No difference between Foden Today and Sancho in the last game. Both hit post/bar and a few decent bits of general play. Nothing special.

Sancho and Grealish showed good signs of being able to link up together in what was one of their first games with one another.

To not have Sancho on the bench is a bit crazy. A ballsy decision I'll give Southgate that.

Foden has impressed when he’s played for England, is what he’s done.
