Spain actually started to look good once they took off Rodri and Koke. No need for such a midfield to start this game. Pedri is a good talent but 90% of the game passed him by because there was no creativity in the midfield. All 3 were basically sitting in a line doing nothing for a lot of the match.

Spain look a little one paced. But I think it's worth considering that if we continue to get hot temperatures they could last the distance well with their possession play. They'll have to find a greater finishing touch, obviously. But I don't think this rules them out.

Well thank feck that’s over.

Spain could put anyone to sleep. Such a boring team.

Sweden with the less possession had the best chance of the game. How the feck did Berg miss

They need a proper attacking winger in that Spanish side. Only Alba willing to run behind and he created most of their chances.

They need a right back too. Llorente, unfortunately for Spain, is not one.

Spain had 17 shots. I dont know how it is boring. They lack the finishing and the final ball, but Sweden parked the bus. Considering the circumstances, the game was decent

Sweden deserved a point, defended really well. I liked the look of Isak.

This will mean Spain have still yet to win a group game in this tournament since 2012 and they have only one out of six opening group games in tournaments .
? Spain beat both Turkey and the Czech Republic in 2016.

Yeah that really wasn't a boring game IMO. Sweden had a few great chances, Spain got close but Olsen had great saves combined with Morata being a garbage striker. Wasn't a bad game at all, was more intense than most so far if anything.

Having one of the most defensive teams in Europe playing against the kings of pointless possession was bound to result in the yawn fest we just got.
