They’ll get at least 70mil for him.
Ha, my first thought too. Our own Williams is in the same year group for age with about 20+ more games under his belt for the first team, but you just know they'll swindle a price for Neco Williams that we probably wouldn't even be able to match for Brandon.

I don’t understand why we don’t sell these players if there is interest. This idea of loaning Williams and Axel makes little sense to me. This isn’t even to criticise the players, but the general strategy of loaning these players out to make room for replacements in their position. What is the point? If we get Trippier and Varane, then what happens to these players when they return from loan in a year? I just don’t understand the concept of trying to buy a right back, but not wanting to sell one that can’t get a game for you, only loan.
Who is going to buy them and pay massive wages they are on at United?

I understand what Spurs get from that…I don’t know what Jesus gets. Why would he leave City for a Kaneless Tottenham?
Consistent first team football, living in London? It's not the most attractive prospect, especially to someone already at City, but if they're that peeved about game time it's a possibility. A Kaneless Spurs for example would mean a 40+ game season for Jesus quite easily.

£100m plus either Sterling, Jesus or Laporte is an incredible deal to be honest.

In reality though I’m not sure any of those 3 players would accept a move to Spurs.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

Not sure Jesus is that peeved? Silva, Laporte and Sterling are the ones reportedly unhappy I think - and all of them would have better options than Spurs you’d imagine.

This will end up happening, and could be the sort of deal that scuppers potential bargains this window by setting a precedent. We should be moving quickly for out targets.
If it was accepted, I actually think it could go the other way. 100m for one of the best strikers in the world, proven top goalscorer year in year out in the Premier League, perfect age, England Captain, that sets the ceiling. So for instance, if someone then wanted 80% of that figure for a player like Rice, or young but not proven potential at that level, and or player who can’t get in his national squad, you’d laugh them out of the room.
It’s just such a pity all those years ago Neymar didn’t go for a similar price, c100m. We’d be living in a different world right now.

With the value of those players, really that bid is worth £150 - £180m. Impressive opener.
If we had those three players at United and they’d had identical seasons that they had individually last season, you’d have posters on here saying that they’re not worth 80m combined..

Also, the tweet says it’ll be rejected, so why are people acting like it’s a done deal?

Am I the only one not reading that tweet like everyone else?

It doesn't say the player will be added on top of the £100m, just that it's £100m and a player could be included

No, it’s certainly worded as if it’s £100m guaranteed fee, with a player to be included as well as that. At least with the way Romano has worded it.

Surely there has never been a league where players swap around the top clubs so often as in the Serie A.

feck me that's an incredible offer. I know Levy will hold out for more, I suspect 120m plus sterling would seal the deal!

Not sure Sterling would be willing to go the other way mind you!

Yeah I just don't read it like that, 100m guaranteed yeah, but that doesn't have to be cash. Its just that it isn't relying on add ones

Then, a player could be included.

That's such a throw away addition, the way its written, the difference between 100m or 100m plus sterling is collossal. So it doesn't make sense

It won’t happen because none of those players would join Tottenham anyway but I feel it’s a decent offer. I’d suggest Sterling is worth around 70m-80m so an offer worth around £170m is huge.
Sterling might, He is a london boy, might fancy going home

I know some on this forum don't rate Sterling that highly but if he is on the Market I am confident he would end up at One of the big Club's not at Tottenham London boy or not

Totally. Spurs would be a step down for him.

He is certainly good enough for a better club than Spurs, I like the guy, but after a rough year maybe being back home could appeal to him.

He is in his Prime maybe if he was winding down his career it could be something which could appeal to him but at this stage it seems unlikely.

Is he really back? If Phil is back then you can bet your bottom dollar we won’t sign a new CB.
Question: If Phil Jones manages to keep fit next season, do you think he would be good for us?
No he won’t stay fit and if he did he’d be shite for us. He was never great and he hasn’t played in so long that he definitely won’t be up to standard

This shite can hardly be good for the England Euro camp. Question marks around the future of all of Kane, Sterling, Sancho, Rice and Grealish, to name a few.

Should do a straight swap, Kane for all three.

Brilliant deal given how hard it is to buy good players even if you have money. Plus the fact we know all three can cut it in the Prem and they're all at a good age.

Chance for Sterling to return closer to the London borough of Brent, where he grew up in the shadows of Wembley.
The media do like churning that out. Which to be fair is better than the usual bollocks he gets

No Spurs fan will want that offer, anyone thinking its a good deal needs to wobble their head,
Kane scores and assists most for Spurs, only offer they should take is Laporte, Sterling, Silva and 100 million,
