The Dutch have looked way too open at times defensively, have to think one of the big teams will take advantage of that. They tend to look pretty slick going forward though.
How so ?Mempiss scores. Undeserved
Very narrow offside goal for Macedonia, Macedonia hit the post, Netherlands didn't really create anything... Macedonia was definitely the better team so far IMO, Netherlands were way too sloppy to startHow so ?
Should have been.Could be pulled back for a foul on Pandev.
Yup, he got found out big time thereWay to show up the fact the commentators are watching this on tv in a cupboard somewhere.
Understandable even if it wasn’t for Covid with the games being all over the continent.Yup, he got found out big time there
So we can assume most of them are not travelling
Yeah, think we wont be seeing Weghorst again.Malen looks excellent
Is that what that was all about? I was only half watchingClive thought that was live.
Yeah, especially will be useful in the bigger games. Weghorst was fine IMO but Memphis and him definitely lacked dynamism for Netherlands in the attack. Makes a difference having that running in behind and unpredictability that Malen gives which neither Weghorst or Memphis didYeah, think we wont be seeing Weghorst again.
Weren't Everton linked with him?Who's signing Dumfries this summer then?
haha that was funnyServes the twat right
I think the movement is what they learn from a young age. Individually they may not have the talent of the earlier generations.I really enjoy movement of Dutch players and how they create opportunities, but they feel so wasteful and nonchalant
Weghorst is a competent target man, but he's purely the guy with the final touch. In this counter set up, Malen's speed and skills is much better suited. I'd like to maybe see Weghorst with Berghuis in the 2nd half.Yeah, especially will be useful in the bigger games. Weghorst was fine IMO but Memphis and him definitely lacked dynamism for Netherlands in the attack.
