As they have lied. Contact tracing works by people being honest and naming their close contacts. It's quite clear this hasn't been done by Scotland and there's video and photographic evidence to show it

Pretty low whichever way you want to view it
Very embarrassing from you today. If a player from any team tests positive you surely aren’t expecting the whole team to be out? Because since football restarted that has never been the case. Don’t be so naive.

I've been equally critical of the England players who breached protocols. I just don't like lying.

True leadership, honesty and integrity.

Totally irresponsible.
I'm not saying Scotland have or haven't done anything wrong. I'm saying Scotland clearly don't believe that they have and neither do UEFA. If they have been doing something wrong the UEFA should be telling them that but as that hasn't happened then it seems like they're okay.

So there's zero chance Scotland have been economical with the truth in your opinion?

As I say, the system only works with people being honest.. it fundamentally starts with Gilmour and the team.

Knocked out after losing two home games.
Good thing they didn’t make a massive deal out of drawing a game 0-0.

Looking forward to the open top bus to parade Billy Gilmour around Glasgow for his braveheart performance at Wembley.

Ye still fecking ragin' mate, aye?
Howling more like.

Pointed out it was a bit embarrassing to be celebrating like you'd won the whole thing after a goalless draw to earn your first (and now only) point, was called an arrogant bellend for doing so, and as expected, you've shat it.

Disappointing.
My main criticisms would be that McGinn needs to play further forward, like he did in most of the qualifiers. And Mctominay should not be playing in central defence, particularly after we lost Ross. Against Croatia tonight, we should have put him - or someone - on Modric, he's still class and was the main difference.
Don't know what's happened to us in front of goal. We were never prolific but not usually as bad as this.
I'm hoping we're close to seeing the last of O'Donnell and Marshall for Scotland. On the plus side, we have a group of players who could be playing together for a while and can hopefully go on and qualify for some major finals.

As I've said before I couldn't be less interested in the Scottish national team and, to be honest, I'm glad they're out.

However, this is absolutely rippin' oot ye. Scotland are irrelevant as a footballing nation, celebrating a draw at a tournament, their first one since 1998 and at Wembley no less is hardly embarrassing.

Yer more than welcome to gibber a lot of pish, every carrot here is pishin' themselves at ye.

Heard young kids in the streets of Scotland have been repeatedly passing the ball five yards sideways in tribute to the brave and heroic Billy Gilmour.

Not really. Everyone in England thought we would get thumped, we didn't and it was a good night for our lads as they've never been in an international tournament so to get a point is something they've never experienced and to do it against your biggest rival in their home ground is obviously going to be something that you'd be chuffed about.

Aside from that we haven't managed to do what we set out to achieve but I've enjoyed every minute of it and I think most Scottish fans have too. Unlike England fans who seem to despise their own team.

Not bothered but jumping on it when someone takes the piss?

I know Scotland are shite and irrelevant, that's what's so funny. Celebrating on the pitch, bouncing round the changing rooms after a 0-0 is embarrasing. We'd be slaughtering any team for that sort of display in club football, but because it's brave old Scotland it's not worth ripping the piss out of? Get to feck.

Man of the tournament in my opinion.

Nah we just got beaten by the best team we've faced so far.
Not going to argue with that. England are shite, and yet.

Seems somehow unsurprising but disappointing. This might be a average Croatia side but they've still got the class players of the two sides and the real quality on the ball. It felt like Scotland still had to pull something out of the bag to win this.

This is why I struggle to support England, the whole thing is filled with arrogant little Englanders.

Scotland played very well against England and picked up a well deserved point, which really should've been a win. They celebrated because it kept their tournament alive.

Sad to see them go out but really need to get a better manager in, the constant hoofing is painful to watch. Hoofed it straight back to Croatia to concede the corner for the 3rd goal. The core of the team is still young, with a good coach they should qualify for the next euros. Just lack that one top level attacker to be a really good team.

I pinned the Scotland match as England's toughest group game pre-tournament. It was always going to be their cup final, while all of the pressure was on England.

I had a great time in 2018 with England, and I'm enjoying the wins this time. Football is tumescent, but I've got used to that over the years following United.

I get being pleased with the win, but you don't qualify for your first tournament in 23 years, knowing full well third place could get you through, to wank yourselves silly over a 0-0 in your second game that earns you your only point.

Naw, yer just ragin' for some inexplicable reason. It's like you've been up every night since ye got rumbled the last time waiting to post in this thread. Likely with a comment that ye saved in a wee word document, thinkin' to yourself, that'll show the jockos.

Anyway,

We didn't wank ourselves silly though, we were just pleased and knew it meant a win in the last game gave us a good chance in the last game. Unfortunately Croatia also had something to play for and are a better and more experienced side. Let's not forget that they reached the WC Final last time around. England also reached the Semi. The experience at big tournaments compared to us was huge in comparison.

The English are a strange bunch.
I dunno. Well, I mean obviously we are but in this specific instance isn't it more fun if we give you some back than patronisingly act above the rivalry and pat the brave little Scotland team on the head for managing a point?

Alex is showing more respect here by trying to wind you up than a lot of England fans do, in my book.

Lowest scoring team to top a group.

As bad as Scotland are, atleast we have enjoy the occasions, English fans do nothing but moan and bitch about their own team, not to mention booing them.

Nothing against Scotland but I wish they had filmed Souness' reaction. The way he went on after the draw yet we're top and they're bottom.

Okay, you've got me, I'm raging. Been absolutely fuming since Friday. Not slept a wink all weekend.

Obviously, as you've said, you're not at all arsed by Scotland going out. Not all arsed by me taking the piss.

Isn't this what the Irish console themselves with if they get to a major tournament.

This thread is another example of why everyone hates England fans.

Meh, topped the group, unbeaten, after winning two of three.

As I said, England aren't winning it. They'll get beat by the first half-decent team they play, but I'll enjoy the ride until then.

Mad how the concept of a local rivalry is completely alien to everyone here. As if football isn't built on getting one over on the guys nextdoor.
